Dr. Savage's rants may be many things to many people, but they most certainly are not mindless.

I think he actually acknowledged being manic depressive. He said he likes being depressed - it helps his work.

If there is one good thing about Savage - he is original and he does not push "the party line". He is not afraid to criticize anybody. You cannot say that about Rush or Sean. Bill is just a loud sef-promoter.

For me - he is the most entertaining.

Bottom line both Savage, Congress and Sunday morning talk shows are all the same with 98% rant with 2% action.

The lack of action is making me a suicidal manic depressive.

I agree. I can hardly stand to listen to him (and I don't anymore), but I like his last book. It's a winner!
