BNP Paribas is controlled by P. Demarais, a Canadian mogul who also controlled the power company Prime Minister Martin was previously employed at. One of Mr. Demarais's children is married to a child of the former Canadian Prime Minister. Anyone can search on this by going to Canada Free Press and Captain's Quarters.
