The commies are tiring of the word "progressive" and trying to say that it is "safe" to come out and proudly be a socialist. They share a lot in common with the communist governments of N. Korea, China, Cuba, and Stalin's USSR.

Put them in the rows in your garden to keep weeds down. Pray the theme's don't effup your tomatoes, beans, egg plant, peppers, okra, etc. Mine have done fine for the last three years doing this. The worse the discourse the better my plants do (more paper).

And this is why I am glad that I picked my college. We have some left-liberalism, but not much. The relations between our university and the rest of the community are strained enough that most of the departments police themselves to keep from getting in trouble. The only time in my 4 years here that a bunch of lefties did a protest, it was YDS beating a paper mache model of a missile with a baseball bat. They got laughed at by everyone, even other leftists who had no idea what they were trying to say. Turns out it was supposed to show the "ludicrous nature of trying to oppose violence with violence."

Since that embarassing episode, YDS has kinda been low profile on campus ;)

I work with a guy just like that. He was spewing the leftwing crap at work to anybody and everybody before the election and was absolutely dumbstruck when Ketchup Boy lost. I still wish I'd bet him on the election, because it was a sucker bet, and he'd have taken it. I'll never forget the look of dejection he had when Cabana Boy conceded the election. It was all I could do to restrain myself from saying, "I told you so!"

My Narcotics Anonymous sponsor is an UberLefty, but he's not obnoxious about it, so he's one of the few Leftys I'd let live if I ever took power.

We try to stay off politics, except for the occasional gentle gibe. Besides, there's more important stuff to do -- like trying to save my life!

Meathead can't take the constructive criticism. He really can't take it when they bring up his superior attitude towards Archie.

Erase That Hate Activists at Ithaca College in New York were upset about the student paper’s lack of coverage of an anti-racism rally so they did the only sensible thing – they stole hundreds of copies of the paper and threw them away.

The Ithacan says it covered the Erase the Hate rally in its online edition, publishing some 30 photographs, but the organizers and their minions wanted similar levels of coverage in the print edition.

One professor professor on campus was described as “ranting and raving” and calling the paper racist for its decision to save a few trees and opt for electronic pandering.
