The spiritual leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has warned the United States to stay out of his country's nuclear programme.
Speaking on a tour of south-east Iran, Ayatollah Khamenei said the US was arrogant, rude and deserved a punch in the mouth.
He also said Iran's presidential elections in June would not make any difference to its nuclear policy.
The US has expressed fears Iran is trying to build nuclear weapons.
Enrichment warning
Ayatollah Khamenei said it was not up to the US to decide which countries needed nuclear technology.
He also warned that Iran's forthcoming presidential elections were nothing to do with the Americans.
No president would dare violate the country's national interests because the people would not allow it, he said.
His comments came as Iran warned on Saturday it might resume suspended enrichment-related activities next week in defiance of an agreement that is underpinning nuclear talks with Europe.
Iran is concerned that negotiations are dragging on too long and has proposed a phased resumption of its nuclear activities.
"I know some very good Persian people who have absolutely no animosity towards America or other Western nations."
I met a very nice Iranian Doctor in a British pub, the night the American hostages were rescued. We were a group of American aviators watching the telly and cheering. He came over, introduced himself and bought us a round. We invited him to sit down and he informed us that he left his country (IRAN) with the regime change. It seems they were executing all of the educated people (doctors, lawyers, professors, etc.) in typical Commie fashion, so he left. Those people are RUNNING IRAN, AND BUILDING NUCLEAR WEAPONS! I know this doctor would say we must STOP THEM! Discrimination is using your brain to adjust your attitude based on past actions. To ignore their past actions would be stupid and suicidal!

I strongly feel, that the "Master of the Universe" either 1. Can't simply intervene (due to free will clause), and squash a couple of Ayatollahs like bugs to let the freedom loving peoples of Iran actualy RUN their country (ARE you following the news there?). But instead must 2. rely on us to use our God given brains to stop them ourselves. Or 3. the Nuts would end up running this asylum (Earth). Which God could not possibly want (remember the executing educated people part?).
