Use the California State Police (who now only guard the govenor and state buildings to round up the illegals and then send them to the feds for deportation.

The state of California's control over the national guard is pretty limited. They National Guard can be called upon by the governor in certin situations, but they are a federal entity not a state entity.
The state has no standing army. All they have are the state police, or if their laws provide for it, they could have a state militia.
I'd like to see someone seriously suggest activating a state militia in CA just to see the liberal scream in horror.
