He was terrible on TV immediately following JPII's death. Only good thing was that you couldn't take him too seriously 'cause he seemed so emasulcated.

I'm not sure what his departure means, though. If it's a Jesuit publication aren't there many more where he came from?

If B16 is to restore the authority of Rome in America, I think he will have to pick something to make an example of.

The Jesuits are a reasonable place to start, but, as you point out, there are a lot of them, and many of them appear to share a commom purpose with Fr. Reeves.

Can the pope inhibit or discipline the whole Jesuit order in some way?
