the most important elected officials and senior management of our county

The thing is, if for some reason you lose an important elected official or senior managerial type of person. Simply elect or hire another.

How did we allow society to become filled with such weak spineless men?
One word....

COLLEGE

Don't forget lousy parenting and psychological castration via feminism.

"the most important elected officials and senior management of our county"

That's such a mouthful we should just go back to calling them our Lords, or possibly our Liege Lords.

"As I observed his behavior from the podium, almost within arm's reach [of] the most important elected officials and senior management of our county

Just a bit of ego there?

Board Vice Chairman Richard W. Glover said the individual "patted his hip and showed his weapon."

Depending on the conversation, that could be construed as “brandishing”.

This makes a good argument for returning to a draft.

I attend Chesterfield County, VA (near Richmond) council and planning commission meetings all of the time. Armed.

The only places I don't go armed are the places it is forbidden by law, and I completely avoid the places that have "No Fireams" signs posted. I'll spend my money where they respect my right to self defense.

I remember a story about the Schlitz brewery where the wrong spelling was used for Schlitz.

The question of the misspelling was put to an older typesetter for another paper and he said that it all comes down to one word, and that word was "ivy".

One word....COLLEGE

Are you kidding? It starts in the public schools in kindergarten and gets worse until they hit their senior year of high school. College just teaches kids to be leaders in the anti-freedom movement.

A Mexican actress?

In Mexico?

She must have really lived a sheltered life.

That should be our Lards or Leisure Lards, judging by how & when I see most of them.

Hint: how is 'Laird" pronounced?LOL

It is AMAZING how many people, through ignorance, thinks that a weapon acts on its own and gets out of control and shoots every moving object in site. SUVs do the same thing, right?

I was working in the yard and there was a copperhead where I dumping brush. I pulled out my Bond Arms .357 with CCI snakeshot and took out the snake. On my second trip to the woods, Mrs. Snake was moving, and I took out the second copperhead.

Two Ruger .357s, one Sig P226 in 9mm, one Sig P232 in .380, one Colt Woodman in .22, one Browning Challenger in .22, one Daly trap in 12 ga., one Scott sbs in 12 ga., one Marling 38 spl., lever action carbine, and assorted goodies. To date... I've inflected no one nor have killed none since I was collecting my arms collection in 1968 when Ted Kennedy murdered his girlfriend at Chappaquidick. I'm surprised that Ralph Nader didn't call for legislation outlawing Oldsmobiles.

Hey. I went to college in CO. Most of our pass-times were at the range. Beretta 12 ga. and the Browning 9mm Hi Power and I became good friends. Then at sun down, a bowl of chili and a beer. Then, a shower, and off to see the ladies.
