that's the speculation. I guess we'll see. I've heard that the reason Tony Blair lost was due to the immigration issue, which is just as hotly debated in Britain.

which laws can WE simply ignore? Been asking that question for many years now. Some animals are more equal than others.

Every day we don't have a secure barrier adds to the overall deficit. Now that we (the U.S.) have the Islamist fanatics in desperate straights overseas I cringe at the cost of an American city or two for the sake of super-cheap labor. The average citizen isn't going to stand for mealy-mouthed excuses and convoluted explanations - they're going to want the heads of those in charge regardless of party affiliation.
Both parties will have ample representation.
At this point I believe the first thing we should be asking our reps is when the wall will be finished.

Wow!
2. Mexico is NOT a poor country. It has the fifth richest economy in the world, and by sending its teeming masses to our country, that status keeps on rising. Mexico has more resources per square mile than the U.S. and plenty of money to take care of its own people. Why should the taxpayers of this country subsidize Mexico's corruption?

I believe that we are going to be in shooting war with Mexico in the next three to five years. Mexico's main problem is that they anihilated their middle class in the 80's and 90s. Their population is made--up primarily of the very wealthy and well-off and the peasants. Mexico's leadership is taking a page out of Adolf Hitler's book with the demand that the US "give-back" the southwestern states, Texas and California as "illegally taken" from poor, victimized Mexico in the 1800s.
Rather than improving the lot of the peasants by allowing them the opportunity to raise caste into the middle class, they are pushing them to illegally enter the US and outbreed the hated "Gringos". Once in there, the Mexican government uses "abuses of native Mexicans" as an excuse to intervene.
It is time to tell the Mexican government that what has happened to Afganistan and Iraq can easily occur south the the Rio Grande.

All of that would be unnecessary if our worthless politicians would stop protecting the employers who created this disaster in the first placeWhat about the welfare, health care, free schooling that our worthless politicians and the trough swilling bureaucrats provide? As you read. A lot don't come here to work, just to get freebies at the expense of those who actually pay taxes.

The United States is now the largest giveaway grab-bag in the history of the world.

Our senators make the senators of the Roman Empire look like amateurs in public welfare appeasement programs. It's easy for the government to be generous with our money. We work for it, and they spend it on encouraging criminals to flood over the border. Makes perfect sense if you're a liberal, a Democrat, a Socialist or a Bush republican. It just fails to pass the smell test from the viewpoint of true conservatives.
