Who says there is a simple explanation.

Who says there's not?

The mathematical theorem Occam's Razor says "The simplest explanation is probably the right explanation."

Conditioned response is the simplest explanation for gay men being excited by the scent of male hormones.

Ever hear of Pavlovian response?

I don't doubt that there may be a genetic component to gayness, but I also hope that psychopharmacology can find a way to treat the disorder.

That's the problem. Political Correctness says there is more than just a genetic component, it says that it is hardwired in and is impossible to treat. Anybody who even suggests their is a component besides genetic and that it may be treatable, is ridiculed as some kind of freakish flat-earth society member.

I think a lot of men in our society are conditioned to be gay. Take the preponderance of French films for example. Take men who enjoy romantic comedies or French films (mon-frere, vous sonnez le Gay, oui?) The only time it is acceptable to watch one of those is with a woman who knows how to reward her man. Watching any of the above films by yourself or with another man is likely to result in SHC (spontaneous homosexual combustion), which is what happens to gay men when they flame out too quickly.

You are probably right, but I just question if human behavior can be explained that simply. Maybe in this reponse it can.

"I want to be extremely cautious - this study does not tell us anything about whether sexual orientation is hardwired in the brain. It doesn't say anything about that," Savic said.

Hardwired. This term suggests that certain neural pathways either exist or don't exist in the brain.

However, it has been scientifically shown that the brain adapts neural pathways through repeated activation much like the triceps will develop through repeated exercise.

This is one explanation for why homosexuals want to "normalize" their behavior, and impose it upon children.

They realize that if they can get a confused kid to even think about it once, the pathway has been established and thus it will be easier to make it happen a second time.

Once someone gets "into the lifestyle" and engages in such activity repeatedly, that pathway gets grooved into their brain and getting out is extremely difficult, just like trying to stop liking chocolate or smoking, or any other thing that you have engaged in repeatedly.

At best, the genetic predisposition would be no stronger than some people have a predisposition to prefer chocolate over vanilla. Its the indoctrination (either forcefully, or via PC) that breaks down opposition in children to what is clearly an abnormal and disgusting behavior.

This is all just more lies from the libs. You can use "science" to prove anything you want.

We all know the truth.

"Could it be that homos are conditioned to get excited from the smell of male sex organs ?"

Oh, sweet Jesus. Reading that made me sick to my stomach!

It's even worse than that. By even getting a kid to think about it, they soon attach the label 'gay' on to the child. Labeling a kid as such is a very powerful psychological tool. Once the kid start to think "I am gay", it is all over.

The left is going to use this as an argument that homosexuality is not a choice but something you are since birth.

But it's an equally strong argument that homosexuality is a pathology that can be treated.

My bet is that a lot of "gay" men are gay because their first sexual experience was homosexual.

Which is exactly why gay child molesters are so despicable.

The left is going to use this as an argument that homosexuality is not a choice but something you are since birth. Here's my point. How many people like beer the first time they taste it? But, how many salivate from the thought of a tall cold draft beer now? Some things are acquired likings.

I think you've just proved the opposite point you were going for. It's pretty well established that alcoholism has a genetic predisposition. Anyone can sample a beer, an alcoholic will prefer it over everything else. You can choose to stop the behavior but a true alcoholic will become one after their first drink.

Once the kid start to think "I am gay", it is all over.

And the reason for that is most likely, the poor kid will lie in bed thinking "I really must be gay to think I am gay" about 1000 times a night.

Much like I used to think "I wonder if Susy will like me" about 1000 times a night when I was 13.

Its normal for teenagers to be confused, to think they aren't tall enough, smart enough, pretty enough, whatever, and to insert even more doubts, especially doubts with such a terrible outcome if acted upon, is criminal.

We don't know the conditions of the "testing". Did the doctors do double and triple blind testing? Did they do testing that would lead to an already presupposed hypothesis.

I remember a story of a gay doctor whose "lover" died (from Anally Injected Death Syndrome). He was so distraught, and he wanted to prove that his "lover" was a victim. That homosexuality is something you're born with, not something you choose.

He studied dead human brains, and found an area of the brain different or larger in gays than straights. That was one of the first things the gays used to justify their stance. But other doctors discredited it, by mentioning how stimuli can affect brain growth or function over long periods of time.

Basically what had happened, was a doctor with an agenda, did testing that would verify "his" conclusion.
