sorry for the delay. i had a long drive home off base.
funny how one of the followers here claim that i will not get respect for putting a left wing site down, yet a poll on a website called "Terri's Fight" is supposed to be neutral? give me one second and i will have my links for you as to where i got my information. i do thank you david ford. with the exception of "Terri's Fight", the other sites were informative. it did not change my opinion, but i understand now how you came to yours.

here is one site. it has a timeline as well to show what happened.
"yet a poll on a website called 'Terri's Fight' is supposed to be neutral"
I suspect that there isn't any such thing as a "neutral" poll.
Also, every poll result you might hear is uninterpretable, unless you know how the question was phrased, and know what remarks to the pollees preceded the question put to them.
Poll questions can be phrased in biased ways, hard-to-understand and thus hard-to-answer ways, inaccurate ways, etc.
sorry for the confusion. i was referring to the site, not the poll.
Well, many of us do.
Metaphorically speaking, of course.
Yes, rehashing the drinking party that took place while an innocent woman was being murdered can have that effect on some people.
I'll add this to my Terri bookmarks. Great work!
Stepping away from the zot frenzy, I would like to address this particular claim you made:
"...she could not be fed normally because it would kill her, hence the feeding tube..."
Please consider the judge's cynical illogic. His verdict killed her-- death by dehydration [and starvation]. The parents said there was a way of feeding her by mouth. But she might-- MIGHT choke to death? Doesn't that cause an involuntary double take?
Now consider our viewpoint. Her family played a tape which was all over talk radio-- there was a voice trying to talk. The family said it was her voice. If she was lucid enough to talk, should that not have been investigated prior to her starvation?
"no assumption needed. the medical reports that say that she did not have one is all i need, plus that good thing called a science book that shows what parts of the brain do what."
If someone is able to attempt speech, then machines are not needed, are they? There was a grotesque lack of curiosity by the judiciary to decide if her ability to attempt verbal communication was true or not. They didn't care enough to hold a new 'blank slate' investigation, which they were given the jurisdiction to have. Therefore, their lack of humanity should result in the most painful impeachment process that politics can produce.
OK I'LL JOIN THE ZOT. I GAVE IT A LOT OF THOUGHT:
I'm ticked off about her crude humor too. But I'll take the Bush family over death trolls any day of the week. It's the GOP's fault they didn't make a better choice in the 2000 primary. Rather than making 'Keyster' jokes, they should have been behind Keyes and demand School Choice and the National Sales tax, along with a genuine investigation of the Ron Brown crash-- which would have decimated the rat party. But they didn't think they could bite that much off back in 2000. The GOP lacked the courage necessary to support him.

Jews see rise in anti-Semitism
ROME--The leader of Italy's Jewish community urged Italians
yesterday to react against "very serious" anti-Semitic incidents
reported in sports arenas and universities throughout the
country.
Amos Luzzati denounced a "bad climate" in Italy as reports of
verbal attacks against Jews multiplied in the past weeks.
On Thursday, an amateur football match had to be called off
after supporters of a local team used anti-Semitic slogans
against players of a team made up of Jewish youths.
Anti-Semitism is also on the rise in universities, Mr. Luzzati
said.
In one instance, Ruth Santos, a teacher at Turin's University,
resigned after being threatened for inviting an Israeli diplomat
to one of her classes.
Demonstrations also were held against Israeli officials holding
talks at universities in Florence and Pisa.

In secular Europe, Jews are beaten in the
streets. Our college campuses-- dogmatically
liberal-- have turned into snake pits of anti-
Zionism and anti-Semitism. The news media,
which are so hostile to Christianity, are
equally antagonistic toward Israel.
