With the vile rhetoric being spewed towards Bush, DeLat et al, it's possibly a democrat operative sent over from Air America. Their supporters are selling Kill Republican t-shirts, Bush with gun at his head shirts etc. They are running skits with Bush and gunshots being fired etc.
ABC news says incoming plane not responding calling it a six to twenty seater size plane.

Small Cesna type plane entered airspace. Turned away, then turned back to restricted airspace. About 3 miles from Capitol.

MSNBC says a Cessna got within 3 miles of the WH. Then turned away.
I'm half a mile from the capital. I was at a nearby landmark where people frequent, and it all looks calm there. I'm guessing some rogue aircraft was detected somewhere, and they aren't taking any chances.
I've been calmer, to be honest. I'll keep you posted if I see or hear something.

Geez...I hit 4 or 5 of the same thread before finding one that hadn't been pulled.
Appears the plane is being escorted out at this point. It simply strayed into the 3 mile radius, by mistake. Looks like folks will start to return to their work places.
