It seemed to be a private plane--entered (no fly zone). It turned around then re-entered. NORAD statement expected soon...there seems to be a 'lack of co-ordinated activity'. This is something we should have learned since 9/11.--FOXN

Just a grammatical quibble: It's "Capitol," which refers to the actual physical buildings, not "Capital," which refers to DC in general.

The concept of 'restricted air space' is rediculous. It can only cause problems and will never stop a genuine attack. It's just phoney government crap to make the sheep think something is being done. It just gives the government even more power over none threats while doing absolutely NOTHING to reduce genuine threats. Would a real terrorist refrain from attacking because the air space is restricted? If our masters won't guard the borders, everything else is a joke.

DC Guard F-16s were in CAP and targeted on TOI. Diverted Cessna w/ flares and escorted to local airfield. Dumb / new pilot without a clue. Confirmed.
