That's cool.

Most of my friends would disagree on two out of three. At least we are having a civil discussion.

What do you thing a border barrier? I'm thinking maybe that's the way to go.

Also, have a look at how much of your produce is grown in Mexico. In California, it varies by market. At Albertsons, ALL the tomatoes are from Mexico. At another supermarket, they still have a few grown in the U.S.

We grow most of our own fruits and vegetables, so we're safe there. We use our own honey bees and sap trees for syrup and sugar. We have our own meat (fished for, raised or hunted) and dairy products and culinary herbs - but spices are another story! That's a weak spot.

On the fruits and vegetable issue, nobody is talking about stopping trade... just illegal immigration.

Where is Jesse and crowd with their indignation!

CNN just reported this regarding the Fox comment.

"Rev. Jesse Jackson says he plans to phone Fox, calling the remarks a spurious comparison with ominus racial overtones"

The fact that Texas seems to be leading the way in caving in to Mexico, and the Bush family history of doing business in both Mexico and Texas and governing in Texas, and Bush43's appointment of a Tex-Mex as AG, all seems to be related, doesn't it?

I was on a thread about 4-5 months ago about this subject and I was arguing against a fence with the other posters that were FOR a fence....

I have since changed my mind---I don't see any other way, and the fence/barrier in Israel is working so well, that it just may come down to that...actually part of the REAL ID Act that was just passed with the Emerg. Supplemental Bill, calls for the fence in California to be completed.

Therefore, we know that a significant number of congresscritters are agreeable to a fence....

Welcome to the "New Texas". At least I am ahead of the curve and taking Spanish at UTA...continuing education. Figure in a few years there will be only a couple of english speaking radio stations left in the metroplex. A new day is coming....and DON'T get me started!!

Maybe we ought to send the Black Congressional Caucus down there to open up a can of whoop-@ss on them.

The following link has a list of their members. You can click on their names to go to their websites and e-mail them from there. Send the article to as many as possible.

I heard a very conservative person say the other day that they would vote for Hillary if she stopped the illegal migration!

And the rest of the story is: if she or any democrat comes out against illegal immigration, calls for a shut down at the border whether he/she/it means or not will win in such numbers that the republican party will not see control of congress for decades to come.

border barrier

A border barrier would help to keep the next 14 million from coming. Bush doesn't want to do that.

End the freebies to illegal aliens which are financed by the American taxpayers. Bush doesn't want to do that.

Hit the employers with heavy fines - you know, the big companies who ship illegal aliens in by the tractor-trailer full? Bush doesn't want to do that.

Enforce existing immigration laws. Bush doesn't want to do that.

Tell Vicente Fox to lead his own country and improve the conditions of the people living there, and to stop sending his poverty over the border for us to support. Bush doesn't want to do that.

You MUST be asking yourself why Bush doesn't want to do any of the above. After all, he swore to protect us from invasion. He hasn't.
