No such thing. Either you worship God or you worship yourself, but you can't do both.

Good news. No offense to any Methodists reading, but I just sent this to my Methodist fiancée along with a story recapping their church's decision to instate a lesbian pastor, with the subject line of "See the difference?"

:)

I believe that they put up with that kind of thing over at the church of Our Lady of the Situational Ethic.

Yes, but her own ended up burning her at the stake when her usefulness was over.

This really isnt news, They were told if they wore their rainbow sashes they wouldnt be allowed to receive the Eucharist. They chose to admit before God and his followers that they belong to a sick sexual cult. The real deal would have been if they had taken names and excommunicated the whole bunch.

Considering what gays want catholics to eat, I'd say we have a right to refuse them Eucharist.

I'm pretty sure I remember in the new Pope's writings a discussion that there have always been gay Catholics then discussing the obligation he feels they have to not act on those desires.

In any case, all Christians are sinners..but we can still be Christians - the only requirements are to acknowledge Jesus as the Son of God and ask forgiveness in his name.

This is the fallacy with Vatican II. To be enclusive and accept Gays and their supporters, the church would be defying the Laws of God; Liviticus. This is the same quandry presented by the acceptance of abortion.

Vatican II and all of the deception it represents must be repealed. If any of the directives are contrary to the Laws of God, the Catholic Church CANNOT support it, actually no Christian Church or Congregation can support any directive be it Catholic or not that defies the Laws of God. If they did, They would not be Catholic or Christian!

It is simple and direct in it's meaning and therefore cannot be twisted to mean anything else than what it says!

The people who are breaking the Laws of the Lord must repent and change their ways - the Catholic Church WILL NOT and CAN NOT change.

I can hear the screams of liberals now. This is a hate crime!

Of course, to the degenerate swine who inhabit Liberal Land, any standards at all are a form of fascism.

Its a sacrament. Combining a political statement with the moment of grace that the sacramenet represents is just like wearing a sponsoring advertisement on a wedding dress.

Leviticus 18:22 is unmistakable in its meaning, intent, and pertinence to the modern world. One cannot outright reject it and still honestly call oneself a Catholic.
