Hah! So was I. I don't think one can post a motivational thread and NOT be accused of attention-getting, unless one has a second screen name -- and the moderators made short work of my attempt to do so. LOL!

So, in the absence of a solution to this non-existant 'problem', I think I'll simply ignore the whiners.

LOL...anything for you, Laz. :) *fluttering eyelashes*

These punks have gotten away with this crap for too long, though. I am fed up as well. I don't understand why more people don't take the MSM stuff with a healthy dose of skepticism after all the fiascoes over the past couple years.

This crap from Newsweek won't even wake up most folks, even though it's egregious in the extreme. At least, it won't wake them up for long. GRRRR.

Simpler until the Secret Service showed up at your door. Then it gets all complicated.

Activism yes. Violence no.

Your morale is flagging? Why, when we live in such a liberal target rich environment?

It's a tough fight Laz. Very tough. I've been cancelling out my "proud to be the liberals' liberal" sister's vote in every election for the last jillion years. She will NEVER admit she's wrong. EVER! She never did as a kid and she certainly never will now. She doesn't WANT to hear anything that doesn't support her socialist views and ridicules everything sane and sensible. Who can figure.

Carry on! You're doing good.

Well, remember when I wrote that Republican Opus. My morale was getting tore-up pretty good.

But Frist is showing (minor) signs of a spine, and I took heart in that.

But when I read the words of this speech that I cribbed from Patton, to joke around with Enterprise about being a General, I felt my resolve steel. Words, simple words, can motivate. If these words cause a few Freepers to do more, and to recruit other like-minded friends and relatives to do more, then the movement snowballs.

There can be no greater service to America than to get more conservative activists to do more activism.

Yea, like silently dissappearing into the mountains for years and chanting mantras of reconciliation while fasting and self flagellating... That would do the trick!

Seriously South, how the hell do you think politicians and motivational speakers stay in business? Uh... could it be by drawing attention to themselves? You kinda have to do that if you want to lead or motivate...
