'Little Black Book' teaches kids 'gay' sex
WorldNetDaily ^ | May 17, 2005

A Massachusetts activist organization today will mark the one-year anniversary of same-sex marriage in the state by discussing the "dark underbelly" of the institution in front of Boston's City Hall.

The Article 8 Alliance" claims the state's schools have become more active in pushing homosexuality with students, pointing to an April 30 event at Brookline High School.

Sponsored by the Gay Lesbian Straight Education Network, the event, said the Article 8 Alliance, featured a "hard-core pornographic homosexual 'how-to' booklet given to hundreds of kids."

"The book was prominently distributed at the first table, right after registration, where everyone would be sure to go," the group states on its website.

The booklet, entitled "The Little Black Book – Queer in the 21st Century," contains what the activist group calls "deadly misinformation on health."

Included in the booklet are graphic descriptions of homosexual conduct, including "fisting," along with a photo-spread discussion of condoms and instructions on how to put them on.

Also included is a list of homosexual bars and clubs in the Boston area "for the discerning queerboy." The Article 8 Alliance points out the students attending the event were of middle-school and high-school age.

The booklet mentions abstaining from risky activity, and then states, "But how much fun is that?"

Brian Camenker, director of Article 8 Alliance slammed the pro-homosexual agenda in Massachusetts.

"Contrary to the rosy picture painted in the mainstream media, we've seen an intensification of undemocratic, anti-free-speech activities throughout our state – in the schools, in government and in the media," he said in a statement. "Alternative points of view are routinely drowned out by ignoring the message, intimidation, name-calling or lack of proper notification. Even pro-family churches now hesitate to speak out on this moral issue, since it has been politicized by the radical homosexuals and their allies."

Continued Camenker: "Meanwhile, our Legislature and governor continue to support gay clubs in our public schools, which draw our young people into this dangerous and destructive lifestyle," saying he had never seen anything as "bad" as the "Little Black Book."

The associate director of the group, John Haskins, also took aim at Gov. Mitt Romney.

"The one person who could easily have prevented this situation simply by defending the state constitution – our Republican governor – is getting a pass, even from pro-family conservative media, and has set his sights on the White House," Haskins said. "If he is not exposed as a very, very, very nice man with neither courage nor convictions, he will indeed be a Republican Manchurian Candidate in 2008."

As WorldNetDaily reported, a Massachusetts father who recently protested a pro-homosexual book his 6-year-old son had been given in school spent a night in jail after being arrested by police – an incident the activist group mentions as further evidence of a pro-"gay" attitude by officials.

I saw the book at the Article 8 press conference at noon today. Truly disgusting.

Some folks have told me it's the most disgusting thing they've ever seen...

I'd say the best first step would be a supression of the Jesuit order!

If teachers assign this reading to students, again, it's up to the parents to intervene and to overrule the teachers.

From here:

David Parker appealed to the School Committee to allow him the right to be informed when his 6-year-old is exposed to these subjects by adults -- and to have the option to exclude him.
Now read a letter from the Superintendent of Schools (Hurley) to Parker here. Apparently the school has no intention of offering an opt out.

My best friends family is sending there kids first to a LCMS (Lutheran Church Missouri Synod) grade school and then to a Catholic high school (no Catholic grade schools). He is a lapsed Lutheran, she a lapsed Catholic.

Neither wanted their kids to go to what passes for public education these days.

Post 47 reads " Are the Catholics in Massachusetts liberal?"

Your reply to Post 47 was " They are C.I.N.O.'s. (Catholics-in-name-only)."

My point is that there are many good Catholics here in this state. The frustration we feel here is never ending. We are not all a bunch of CINOs.

"Speaking as a scientist - most scientists are against this sort of thing. "

I wish this were true ... I don't think so. Most have no opinion, many are delighted, and the rest of those who may actually disapprove ... they are silent.

This is why my hostility to scientists grows by the year. It is that total endorsement, via the silence, of the use of the scientific method to justify pushing this stuff on kids. It is wrong ... and I have a M.S. degree in one of the hard sciences myself.

GLSEN and Boston Public health and AIDS prevention are denying the existance of this book as being distributed to children. I can't find anything on the press conference by Article8, other than what they released to the press.

I called the school and the GLSEN in Boston and they categorically deny that this was ditributed, so what gives? Have we been duped?

Does anyone know anything other than what was published on the article 8 website? If this is real, it will be a solid blow to the "gay's" but if shown to be a fake, it will set back opposition to the gay movement. It's important that we get it right people!

If they weren't, the state probably wouldn't be in the condition it's been in for as long as it has.

Perhaps GLSEN and the school are playing word games as they did to Parker. I can't see Brian Camenker, the registered owner of article8 involved in a dupe. The guy has been very involved with this issue for some time.

I saw the book and it was not fake. (If someone faked it, they sure went to a LOT of trouble.)

What I was told was that it was distributed at a workshop at the school. My guess is that the school can say they did not distribute it because someone else did.

That's what I was thinking when I said the school might be playing word games, which we have already seen with the incident with Parker (the father who was arrested).

UPDATE FROM A. 8:

Just what you'd expect:
Gays, organizers suddenly claiming that pornographic homosexual booklet wasn't at Brookline High School GLSEN conference Apr.30.
Strongly refuted by attendee who picked it up there (and Article 8 Alliance)!

"Of course the book was there! I picked mine up up on the Fenway Community Health Center table. There was a whole bunch of them on that table. It was the first table you got to after the registration table, when you went in."
Sally Turner, Carlisle, MA

"The people we saw each came home from the conference with a big bag of materials. And they all clearly had a copy of the book. It's ridiculous to claim that the book wasn't there.
Brian Camenker, Director, Article 8 Alliance

Statement from GLSEN-Boston, May 17:

Recent allegations from the far right on the one year anniversary of same sex marriage about the 2005 GLSEN Boston Conference are categorically untrue

Boston, MA (May 17, 2005)

The Boston Chapter of the Gay, Lesbian, & Straight Education Network, GLSEN Boston, wants to assure everyone that there were no sexually explicit materials at the conference. GLSEN Boston has a written and strongly enforced policy that no sexually explicit materials will be available or conversations engaged at the conference by presenters, staff, or others affiliated with GLSEN Boston. Sexually explicit materials of any kind are not permitted at the conference and would be in violation of clearly stated policy.

"We assign monitors to every workshop and event to assure that all policies are strictly enforced. No such materials, from AAC or anyone else, were ever present at the GLSEN conference in Brookline," said Sean Haley, E.D. of GLSEN Boston. "The allegations are simply lies."

GLSEN Boston works to ensure that all young people have access to a safe learning environment regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.

Article 8 reaction:

A common tactic for homosexual activists in the schools: to characterize anyone who exposes them or challenges them as "the far right" and to brush aside what they expose as "simply lies." Plus a lot of official-sounding blather boilerplate. Make no mistake, these are NOT lies. We have a witness who has stepped up. We have the books.

AIDS Action Committee:

A caller Tuesday afternoon spoke to an AIDS Action Committee (AAC) spokesman who identified himself as "Diego." Diego said that AAC definitely did not have a table at Brookline High School that day.

Article 8 reaction:

They're technically correct that AAC did not have a table there. But that's beside the point. Their "Little Black Book" was given out at the "Fenway Community Health Center" table. Somehow the Fenway Community Health Center received a large number of copies of the book, enough for a conference of hundreds of people.

Brookline High School:

The secretary to the headmaster, Carol Dyer, has been telling callers that she's been told that the book not given out, that nobody got them, and that these allegations are "not true". But when pressed, she also admits she doesn't know for sure.

Article 8 reaction:

Call Carol Dyer at 617-730-2401. She and the rest of them need to quit stonewalling and face this issue squarely. This is serious stuff, not a game.

Massachusetts Dept. of Public Health:

We were told Tuesday evening by a newspaper reporter that the Mass Dept. of Public Health claims it had nothing whatsoever to do with the book.

Article 8 reaction:

Then why is their name published in it as a contributor? Gov. Romney knows better, says he's going to get to the bottom of it. Besides, it's well known that the AIDS Action Committee and the Dept. of Public Health have had a very close working relationship for a long time.

Conclusion: The usual lies, deception, and subterfuge by gay activists and their supporters in the schools that unfortunately parents see over and over again. In Massachusetts, at least, the homosexual movement has a long history of simply making up statements to hide their activities with schoolchildren.

"Blame the ideologues, not the scientists."

Ok. I do blame the ideologues. But to deny the assent of your average run of the mill scientist by the reality they do not stand and visibily fight this .... even though the precious 'scientific method' underlies what kids are being taught in sex education classes ...

I sense that overlooking this assent is in accordance with an overall design.

But if the semantically-less threatening 'civil unions' is imposed instead of gay marriage -- as perhaps a way of the Courts to give the Left a substantive victory by giving away the institution of marriage, while avoiding inflaming the public by not using the word 'marriage' -- then there will be an officially, legally, state sponsored and recognized endorsement of homosexual relationships. Then it will be much easier to get these types of offensive materials into the classroom regardless of what the community feels, because afterall, they'd just be reflecting the law.

How could we say, for example, not to place homosexual civil unions right along side traditional marriage in the social studies textbooks if the law does just that? If a community did insist that such things not be taught in the classroom, then some judge would probably issue an order compelling them to anyway.

This looks like the most likely scenario to me.

It just makes no sense to me to support oppose gay marriage, but support civil unions.

No, but subjectivism and nominalism reigns, so acceptance of this semantic sleight of hand isn't surprising.
