Illegal immigrant rights activists say the recent groundswell of anti-immigration measures in Arizona is making the lives of immigrants, and anyone who looks like one, miserable and must be countered in kind: by making the lives of Arizonans more difficult through lost business and tourism.

If illegals wanted to make life miserable for Arizonans, the best thing for them to do would be to mob the place.

What's that?

They already have?

..nevermind.

It's a nice place to vacation -- of course there is the Grand Canyon, Tombstone is historic, they have Colossal Cave National Park, etc. I was fascinated with the Biosphere near Oracle.

The solution is simple, if it is so bad here, GO BACK WHERE YOU CAME FROM!

This is just a taste of the political and economic pressure thats going to be applied once 15-30 million illegals become legal....and the left will be right there with them.

First off...families / dependents of legals now living in Mexico will also be allowed to 'migrate'...and become legal...and so on...and so on...

Can someone provide websites where I can buy products manufactured or sold in Arizona? I'll be happy to lend my support. Think I'll start by getting a subscription to 'Arizona Highwyas', a beautiful magazine for any of you who may have not seen it.

Why can't someone publish a list of Arizona businesses so that those who want to patronize them can do so easily?

Please! Say it IS so.

One of the few allies that the illegals have are the businesses that exploit them for cheap labor and the businesses that depend on them as customers.

It is interesting that the illegals would choose a form of political protest that really only hurts their main ally.

Most of the rest of us are going to enjoy this protest. It will be like getting our country back.

After that first paragraph, I think I'll take a pass.

You've got to love them attacking the very people that draw them up here.

Needless to say, I would be deeply disappointed if fewer came to Arizona to suck up our water, damage our fences, depress our wages, reintroduce third-world diseases, introduce more illegal drugs, and cause my taxes and medical insurance to skyrocket.

"At the current rate of invasion the United States will be completely over run with ILLEGAL aliens by the year 2025...only 21 years away. ILLEGAL aliens and their offspring will be the dominant population in the U.S. and will have made such inroads into the political and social systems that they will have more influence than the U.S. Constitution over how the U.S. is governed. That ugly consequence is already taking place. The United States of America is under invasion." --- James Gilchrist - The MinuteMan Project

EXACTLY - put up or shut up.

How were they treated in Mexico, better or worse?

I have no problem with Mexicans, none at all - UNLESS they are illegal Mexicans, then I a HUGE problem with them.

My husband is English and we went through all the hoops of fire, so he could legally enter the country & work, why can't [they] do this, if they truly want nothing more than a better life here in USA?

I have a question for all the illegal immigrant activistsout there;

Do you think that your protests & boycotts will make the people of Arizona (& the rest of the US):

A). like the illegals more?
B). like the illegals less?
C). change nothing?
D). piss people off just enough, to start protests of their own, demanding the government crack down on illegal immigrants?

If the illegals don't like the way they are treated - don't enter our country illegally.

If the legal aliens don't like being painted with the same brush, maybe they should see what THEY can do, to eliminate illegal immigration.

We MUST secure our borders and stop worrying who it might upset. The borders being crossed belong to USA, when you break the law, there must be action, which must include immediate deportation.

I liked the way George Bush 41, turned the boats around in the water, rather than allowing them to clog our deportation centers - WHY can't we do the same with the Mexicans? When they are caught crossing over the border, they should be fingerprinted & put on a bus the same night, a bus that drives them 100 hundred miles into Mexico & dumps them off.

Only in America, could ILLEGAL immigrants protest their treatment, by the legal citizens of America - and be given a soapbox, audience & approval.

Sometimes this country makes me so mad (liberals make me mad all the time).
