You seem to assume that the Republicans will be in power forever. Tonight they maintained a rule that could be very important WHEN, not IF, the Democrats once again have the majority in the Senate.???
That's a joke, right?
Har! Of course it is!... You just forgot your /sarcasm tag.... Because you certainly are aware that the Democrat Party is the party that invented the art of the smear now known as "Borking"; and you know that the Democrat Party is the party that attempted the "high-tech lynching" of Clarence Thomas; and everybody knows that the Democrat Party is the party that ratcheted down the judicial confirmation process to the low point we have today by routinely filibustering lower court nominees.
And anybody who believes that that same Democrat Party will NOT "go nuclear" and laugh right in the Republicans' faces the first chance they get is a hopeless knave.
You are certainly not a hopeless knave and so that's why a /sarcasm tag is helpful with a sarcastic post like yours.
Regards,
LH

Actually Hank, after a deep swig of Guinness, I don't think we should support them at all. I am beginning to believe that we have to accept losing to win in the end. Maybe we need to just clean house. I said what I said because I think Bush deserves his majority, but on second thought, he doesn't really have one , does he? So, I cant argue with you.

If you work for Sen. Warner be sure to let him know how furious the voters are. Its not just this you see. We got the majority for the judges specifically and Jeffords jumped. We got the dirty Rats cheating us in the Laughtenberg "election" and the Wash. State govs "election". We don't see our guys standing up and fighting back, only "wait, the real trick is coming and were gonna really get 'em this time". Its all bullshit. I have donated and donated, I have argued and argued with so many people convincing them the Republican Senate fund raising line was true. Its all about the judges.
Republicans have the majority because a lot of people broke their backs and bank accounts to see people with character elected, only to be insulted when the time came to fight.
Not everything is a Sun Tzu solution and we just don't get it.

Could well be true. the Dems got SOMETHING here - a wink and a nod in private, maybe. Something more than just saving face.
I want to vote for a party with the Republicans' principles and the Democrats' chutzpah!

YES!! Please Arizona! Wake up and get rid of McCain!!
Sorry to report, but it is too late. He won with 76% last year. Nearly everyone is drunk on the kool-aid ('cept me) for some damn reason. There is nothing can be done about this guy in Arizona.

So you're saying the nuke option already failed and our conservative judicial nominees are screwed? I thought that would all work out tomorrow.

Are you so angry that you'd stay home and let Hillary win?YES.
But it's not anger . . . it's final realization. The Republicans are NOT in this for US. They're in it for THEMSELVES ONLY. ONLY.
They throw us a bone every now and again, but only just enough to keep us on the plantation, they think. Well, this conservative just got his walking papers, and I'm willing to suffer through several Hillary admnistrations in order to bring everything into place for a true conservative political revolution that will kill off all the stinky remains of the old Republican Party.
You see, there's one concept we Christians understand: Sometimes you have to die in order to live.

I do believe that you are wrong. I certainly will.
I might even salvage a glimmer by getting a chuck at all of the crapweasels that will have to say "President Clinton" again for another eight years as our country's fabric is torn to shreds by an outright Socialist bitch.

Fine, you dummies can waste your time. I don't believe in Santa Claus. Vote your pocketbook not the social issues. Its a smokescreen.
The Rebpubs always have time to pass legislation to help big business but when it comes to social issues or immigration, there's always some "complex" problem that comes up.
Just accept the fact that Lucy isn't going to let you kick the football, and move on.

"Mike Dewine. RINO Senator from Ohio. He is seeking his third term in 2006"
I'm right across the state line in PA. maybe we can help you guys. We've got Santorum in 2006. Without his help, Specter would have lost re-election to Toomey in the primaries. Some people are unhappy with him, but I don't think we'll have a full scale revolt. Beating Dewine is somthing I could get into, though. Maybe we can set up a regional effort.

After this and his teaming with Kennedy on immigration how about a recall?

One of my very own Senators, I'm ashamed to say tonight, is Mike Dewine. RINO Senator from Ohio. He is seeking his third term in 2006 and I think its time he goes home and gives his seat to a real Republican.Git r done!

We should focus on a few key RINO's (the 7 are the starting point), and do our best to campaign them out. It has become my mission in life. I'm furious!!!
