Joe Scarborough is now talking about this on his show.

He was smiling as big as New Years when talking about how McCain and the Rinos made a deal.

No shock there. Joe Scarborough was a Rino when he was in office.

He talks the conservative spending line........but he was a little McCainiac when he was in office.

Fourth district pub. Looks like he was first elected to congress at 32. Followed term limits. Got re-elected.

What amazed me is how he made several speeches in support of the nuclear option, and voted for all of Bushes nominees.

If he wasn't a social conservative, why did he ask to be put on the Judiciary Committee?

I completely disagree.
Frist had his chance to push for this deal and he said all along "up or down votes on all".
He had his 50, including Specter.
He was sold out by seven who love the cocktail parties of Washington more than they love principle and would trade anything for being on the camera.

We once had a discussion about FR not going after folks on sexuality or using it. What about this?

Is Lindsey Graham married or was he ever? He has a feminine look to him. I heard you know about his uh sexuality, so I have to believe they are true and he is being blackmailed!

All seven may still get up or down votes, with some or all of the RINO traitors joining their new colleagues to vote them down ...

Dude, Frist drug this out for a long time. His statement tonight is now what one would consider...strong disapproval.

If the Gang of 14 manages to hold together as a wholly owned subsidery of the DNC, then those of us who have "won life's lottery" a.k.a. tax payers, better get used to the military phrase BOHICA.

I'd bet a sizeable sum on that happening. Problem is, no one here would take the other side of the bet!

We need to put our money where our mouths are and support conservatives to oppose Graham and the rest of the traitors. In the meantime, flood his email with your deep revulsion at his sell-out today. Maybe the little nancy boy will decide not to run at all next time if South Carolinians will stand up against him on this and remember it when he comes up for election.

And I have no willingness to consider conspiracies.

"I wonder what's in Lindsey Graham's FBI file."

Rumors have been around SC for years that he's gay but I don't think he would cave to pressure. Even if he is, he'd bite the bullet and come out, and still stab conservatives in the back. He does what he thinks is best for the country and never gives a thought to how it effects him or the party. He's a RINO on many issues and he was only elected because he was the best there was at the time. If all things are equal next time, he'll be reelected. I held my nose and voted for him last time, and probably will next time. We can pray that a replacement is found, but it's not likely.

What was Ravenel's first name from the Charleston area that ran against Sanford in the GOP primary? I liked him, even though I voted for Sanford. I remember he was a young guy with a big family. I think we need to try and get at grassroots effort to support him to run against Graham. He was from the low country too, which would help him since Graham is from the upstate. Many have complained about having two upstate senators.

wake up. FRIST FAILED!!!!!

If he really had planned on the nuke option...he would have pulled the trigger months and months ago. According to his own words.....he had the votes.

Frist is a weak kneed sissy boy.

Sorry, did a google search and found my answer. Thomas Ravenel ran against now Senator DeMint in the GOP Primary. I did vote for him against DeMint in the runoff. he came in a strong second ahead of Beasley. If I remember correctly, he is very conservative. Maybe he could run against Graham.

I just saw Nora McDonald(sp?)on MSNBC report on the compromise and let me tell you she was giddy as hell!! She said Frist put his reputation and everything on the table only to have to resort to a compromise....MY GOD, the presstitutes are milking this to no end! According to them this was a HUGH victory for the RATS and Nora was all smiles, she couldn't contain her giddiness...I KID YOU NOT! I'm FUMING!!
