A truly terrific read.

It is pure laziness on the part of Republicans, imo, that they didn't force a true filibuster...the 24/7 kind.

...a coalition of seven moderate Republicans agreed to give the Democratic Party the right to permanently obstruct any nominee deemed unacceptable by its activist base.

The Sucking Seven.

I think this may become a method to promote "English only" legislation.
There is no word; 'extrordinary', rather the correct "extra ordinary" would exclude any politico by the very nature of their extra ordinary status, as opposed to we, the ordinary people.

Too, the malignant seven seem to 'miscomprehensumate' (Hey, if President Bush can coin words .... ) the word, the definition and action of 'advise' and 'advice'.

Y' put yer' right feets next to yer' left feets and that's the positions of attentions."

This battle should have taken place years ago. Letting it go on and on allowed the communists time to develop a Orwellian rationale for usurping the prerogative of the Executive. Well now they have their victory, given to them by the castrati that make up the Republican party.
A pox on all their houses!
