Bowers (D), Crutchfield (D) and a Republican (I didn't get the name) led away in handcuffs this morning from Capital Hill. It has something to do with the ethics reform and that nasty Democrat John Ford from what I hear. I am trying to get some more info... I will link it as soon as I can.

Thursday morning, federal officials arrested four Tennessee legislators on Capitol Hill in downtown Nashville.
Agents arrested Sen. Ward Crutchfield, (D) Chattanooga; Sen. John Ford, (D) Memphis; Sen. Kathryn Bowers, (D) Memphis; Rep. Chris Newton, (R) Cleveland.
There will a news conference at the U.S. attorney’s office in Memphis detailing the charges against the legislators at 11 a.m.

State Sen. Ward Crutchfield (D-Chattanooga), Sen. John Ford (D-Memphis), Sen. Kathryn Bowers (D-Memphis) and state Rep. Chris Newton (R-Cleveland) were arrested by the FBI near the state Capitol this morning and led away in handcuffs.
The four were arrested under the federal Hobbs Act, which covers extortion by the wrongful use of actual or threatened force, violence, or fear.
The arrests apparently involve a bill sponsored in the House by Newton and in the Senate by Crutchfield and Ford that involved the sale of surplus computers and electronic equipment.
Newton withdrew the bill from committee consideration Wednesday.

Chris Newton is the Republican from Chattanooga that has been arrested. John Ford has been arrested sounds like as well. Expect 10 or 12 total arrests. Wow... It is a madhouse at the Capital.
