Well... with regard to some of the stuff that is no longer there, it is probably fair to say that we've had something to do with that as well.

Some improverished countries can't build telco infrastructures because the copper wire is always being stolen, both before and after it's laid.

In Iraq, one would think anthrax cauldrons and other junk present the same commercial appeal to scrap hustlers.

And yes, some of it probably disappeared with a great BOOM, courtesy of the U.S. military.

I read no further, sorry.

The point to this relates back to liberals condemnation of "Bush's decision" to attack. Last week Kerry made a statement to the effect that a serious effort would be made to impeach based on no WMD. The UN has been surveying the equipment since the war began and now has lost track of 109 sites. Obviously if it never existed they could not have been focusing on it, let alone had reason to.

I do not understand why this story is not breaking news or whatever it's called. This ruptures a major attempt in the liberal effort to derail conservative efforts to turn America around. Instead we promote ~9 deaths in somewhere... which only enhances the media effort.
