As a North Carolina native, I can tell you that this is BULLSH!T at best and fearmongering at worst.

Threw you out for wearing contour sheets, eh? :)

I'm experiencing cognitive dissonance here.

And I don't think the MSM is going to permit the money trail to be followed, unless people do the detecting themselves. Which would be putting in the foundation for a replacement Media, one which actually finds out facts and prints them, with background, simply for the purpose of making clear what's going on.

I see a lot of Muslim head scarves around NC but never anybody wearing a sheet.

We're just infested with them up here. We have to keep the sugar locked up at night and they leave trails up the side of the porch. Oh...wait...that was ants, not Klansmen. Of course I could see how the human paperweights in the FBI could get that mixed up.

It isn't domestic terrorism unless the crosses are burned on people's lawns.

For this to be a "very high priority" is utterly pathetic.

As far as I'm concerned, the Anti-Christian Liberal Un-Americans (ACLU) are a hate group that is very active not just in a few scattered areas of the South, but everywhere in America. What's more, they actually have enormous power. I'm about 100 times more concerned about them than I am about whatever minuscule remnants of the Klan there might be.

These people are going to be soooo embarrassed when this turns out to be a bunch of frat boys from UNC-CH or Duke. Even more embarrassed when it turns out to be the Tawana Brawley scenario. Incredibly embarrassed when it turns out to be half a dozen jack-leg rednecks out joyriding.

Or maybe not. These local news types tend to be too stupid to be embarrassed. They'll just run a story about how it could have been the Klan and how lucky we are that it wasn't.

Aren't seven out of every four Klansment federal agents or informers?

No, I said that right.

Seven out of every four? I heard it was more like fifteen out of every five.

Typical media projecting here. The reporter ASSUMES the "hate groups" are white and KKK. There may well be 22 groups -- 21 Islamic, black, Mexican, whatever, and 1 white group. But somehow the media assumes if it's hate, it's white.

Every racialist group but "white" is covered under the "hate crimes protection" laws. That's an influental factor, no doubt. Gays want the "same protection under hate crimes laws" as RACE. Three guesses why. So the MSM and Federales can continue to have to follow those "biased, special, protection laws.

I wouldn't be surprised to learn if California Unionmeisters would also like to see CA "Unions" added to the special protections == all of it for the same political, activist judicial reasons.

Billbears -- CA does have active white cells. Wouldn't surprise me if these cells are in a lot of states. Racialists work together in tandem. No "whitest" anti-minority behaviors? Watch them "happen" when a lib policy or money grab is needed by lib Leadership.

The problem, again, IMHO? All racialist groups should be tarred by the same negative actions and behaviors, and they aren't. No, no... the grievance elite cannot allow that to happen. Sometimes, I do visualize, the money transfer to whitests once a "minority" area has received money for harm done to said "community" by "kkk" or other such.

The horrid brawls that go on, say, in CA between black and latinos, or say this minority group against that minority group are never put in the same category, verbiage, description headline as anything minority and anything white. And this, right here, is why the headline KKK "grows" may actually be something so-called "newsworthy". That it is growing, recruiting is up.

You can jolly well bet, if "KKK" recruitment is up, the other minority racialist groups will use this to bring their own recruitment numbers up.

five FBI agents, two unemployed janitors

You forgot to mention the unemployed janitors can't light a match or find a cross so the FBI agents have to do it for them.

;-)

If someone tries to recruit you for the Klan tell them you already applied to the FBI and were rejected. ;-)

I have lived in North Carolina and I work and drank with a lot of people who would profile for being in the kkk. Somehow none of them knew of any kkk activity. I think this article is BS. Am I to believe that some white boys were burning crosses in black neighborhoods in this day and age? I think the local black residents, and white residents, would have dealt with them quickly and efficiently. Maybe you know something I don't know.
