The point of the article is to point out that the DETAINEES were the ones who were desecrating their own Koran.

"Hood's inquiry identified 15 incidents in which detainees mishandled the Koran. These involved using it as a pillow, ripping pages from it, attempting to flush it down a toilet, and urinating on it.

Why aren't the Muslims and the MSM outraged about this and mad at the detainees?

Ummm...three-day-old Newbie, when CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, MSNBC, Washington Post, NY Times, Seattle Times, USA Today, Chicago Tribune, Time Magazine, Newsweek, the Nation etc. etc. etc. file reports on past/current abuse of Christian and Jewish symbols, churches, bibles etc. for every "Koran desecration" story then we'll see almost no errant soldiers "stooping to their level." This is NOT official policy. We've come to a point in time where the left employs/embraces total subjectivity to the detriment of objectiveness. So until we have some objective rationality from the left on most political issues then occasionaly we will have to fight fire with fire.

This entire koran nonsense is nothing more than Al Quada propaganda.The media morons are so quick to attack the US and its military that they play right into the hands of the terrorist.They are aware that Al Quada teaches its terrorist this tactic on page 17 of their training manual yet they are compelled to run with the story before getting all the facts.There should be some heads rolling over this but instead we are bombarded with Deep Throat who most people think is some old gay guy that screwed Dick Nixon.

When I go to a resturaunt, and some trashy server gets smart with me, I don't argue with them, I don't complain (even though I have every right too) because I understand that they can't help the way they are. I was raised better, I accept it, and I give them a tip anyway, with the hope that one day, they might try and improve themselves, and maybe when that day comes, they remember the example I set.

I agree that we are better than they are and we should hold ourselves to a higher standard but we shouldn't take it too far.There's no reason for us to kick ourselves and create an environment where everybody is walking on eggshells just because some terrorist made a false allegation.The whole koran in the toilet saga has been blown way out of proportion especially since it was a fraud.

They couldn't kill 100 American soldiers in their dreams. They only went three for four in surprise hijack attempts against civilians.

Give them all very nice thorough trials. Any found to have been fighting out of uniform and/or hiding in the civilian population should be hanged or shot as spies. Send them back to their home towns in pine boxes.

Accomplishes quite a few objectives:

1.) Supports international law.
2.) Gets these vermin out of the neighborhoods they are trying to turn into battlefields.
3.) Sends a nice warm fuzzy message to the next Islamic recruits.

War is war. They want war give it to them. Our kindness is attracting their contempt.
