Virginia-based pro-Bush outfit VERACITOR have filmed a video for the controversial song "Warmongers of Discontent", which supports President Bush in the war on terror and the war in Iraq.

The clip shows "scenes of soldiers fighting in Fallujah clearly in danger, but clearly dominating the battlefield," according to a press release. "It pays homage to the men and women serving in the war supporting their cause, while attacking those who unjustly criticize this war undermining our troops' efforts."

The "Warmongers of Discontent" video is available for download at http://www.veracitor.com/WOD_web.wmv

VERACITOR was formed in 2003 as a power/thrash metal band with thought-provoking lyrics of a conservative nature. Topics range from the preservation of the Constitution, self-awareness and responsibility to the capture of Saddam Hussein.

How about that! Conservative heavy metal. The next thing you know, there's going to be Christian rap artists.

Oh, wait...

Actually, a lot of Heavy Metal is conservative. Slayer are all Republicans. Sammy Hagar is Republican. So is Ted Nugent, and Alice Cooper.

Think about this way . . . liberals are usually the pansy-waist, "can't we all just get along", girlie-men.

Heavy metal and punk guys are usually a little more manly. Of course the ones that pay attention are going to be conservative or libertarian.

www.conservativepunk.com is another good site!

Another good conservative metal band is Iced Earth. They made an album a couple of years ago, "The Glorious Burden", where they wrote songs about different events in history, including a 3 part epic, "Gettysburg 1863".

Good to hear that there actually is a thing as a pro-Bush group of any genre.

I went to the Vans Warped Tour last summer and I could've sworn I was at a elect John Kerry campain fundraiser event. Almost every band started their set by Bush-bashing. That and all the ACLU t-shirts I saw made me decide that 2004 was the last warped tour I'd be attending.

I'm not sure about their actual politics, but some of Metallica's songs seem very conservative.
