Pretty close. 36-31 for Forrester over Schundler, in a seven way race.

I'd like to know how they pick somebody to be Corzine's token opposition. "Uh, okay-you. The guy with the moustache. Say something negative about Jon."

Guy with moustache: "Ummm...I don't like his tie."

"OK, thanks. Primary's over; you can all go home now."

Time to hold our noses and support Forrester in the General Election. He was my last choice of the seven, but he will be better than Corzine, by a long shot.

It just saddens me to see yet another NJ race between a Billionaire and a Billionaire. But now that it is basically illegal to raise campaign funds in NJ, you need to be a Billionaire to run for statewide office, so you can finance yourself. Until the rules are changed, I doubt we will see a candidate in the general election from either party for any state-wide office that is not capable of self-financing. Self-financing gives a candidate an insurmountable edge in the primary contests, even if the candidate is as lousy as Forrester or Corzine.

Why do I have the feeling that the mob picks all the candidates for both parties in NJ?

Too bad Forrester doesn't have to run for re-election in the same year as the governors race.

I don't know, it doesn't sound good. Isn't Forrester the guy who couldn't beat the 'Rat ersatz candidate for Torricelli, that old fossil Louseyberg? Say hello to Gov. Corzine, I'm afraid. As an expatriate Jerseyan, I am saddened by what has befallen my home state. But it's looking like more and more of a lost cause, the 'Rats are just too firmly entrenched there.

Alright folks:

Those of you who have been reading my posts as of late (particularly in the NJ community board) know that I was an avid Schundler supporter, and that I was totally against Forrester. I thought everyone who voted for Lonegan committed a serious act of buffoonery, and I still do.

But that being said, Corzine is a total clown. He must be taken down. I'll volunteer for his campaign and vote for him in November, even though I totally disagreed with his dirty primary campaign, and some of his policy initiatives. Hopefully, he can be equally as aggressive towards Corzine as he was towards Schundler.

Every single one of us should go out there and get this guy votes. The NJ Democrat Party is a cesspool, and it's the reason why this state is a cesspool. We must beat Corzine, and that battle starts today. It's going to be a tough battle, too; check out Corzine's campaign site, this guy has a much more organized and detailed campaign site than Forrester does. We need to step it up.

What a suprise. NJ elects another RINO who'll eventually lose to the Dem.

Forrester is Christie Whitman II.

Schundler would have won had the others, who had no chance in hell of winning, stayed out of the election.

Doug is going to have to EARN my vote and support.

Let's just hope he gets a strong campaign and platform together and attacks Corzine as much as he did to Schundler.
