Bill Frist, Gen. Tommy Franks and Gary Sinise are guest today. Yay-ess!!
Countdown till the Tony Snow Show. Woof!
Awesome line up!
Yep!
Woof!
No kidding...Frist, Franks and Sinese...3 great guys.
Pelosi and Leiberman have come out against Howie??
Nooooooo! We NEED Dr. Dementia.
Hillary like him though, LOL! Tony replays some of HIllary's quotes from the fundraiser over the weekend. Says she's saying nothing different than Dean.
True, so very true...
Calling someone by the Mrs. title is sexist?
Agreed. I am enjoying Dean more than I can say. Hillary!, btw, will never be president of the U.S. Oops, I see I not the only one who knows that.
Thanks for putting this link on the other thread AFPhys!
Tony is right about the dem party. In fact, in between the rejoicing at their defeats, some folks, here and elsewhere, have been scratching their heads over what is going on. Maybe part of it is that they see the roadblocks that have been thrown up in the way of their march to socialism. Personal SS accounts will do much to help in that regard. But just see how they think about people like us and how greatly they misunderstand what the majority of Americans are all about, particularly Christians. It is mind boggling.
Off soon for day but will read back the thread later. Do good reporting for those of us without way to hear show & No streamimg capabilities.. (the new standard for impoverished?)
Tommy Franks says America is as involved and engaged in the process in Iraq as she ever has been. Says he wouldn't put too much credence in certain news outlet's report. LOL!
Says it should come as no surprise that terrorists sensed victory when the US did nothing about the attacks of the Kobar Towers, USS Cole etc. The question for us to answer is what is the next 200 years going to bring? trying to create democracy in the ME
Gen Franks says we haven't had a generation in this country that hasn't been in a war. The military tried to figure out what motivates young people to recruit them into service. Says we need to do more for military families.
We need to keep saying Thanks. Says it's important to keep your Bush/Cheney bumper sticker on in order to show our support for the troops.
Tony plays Hagels comment from yesterday saying we never had enough troops in Iraq. Franks says the timing is critical when planning for invasions.
Franks talking about the troop levels in the Iraq war. He says those who say we had an inadequate force size are wrong.
Short burst of joy, quickly quashed, about Franks running for office. I think he'd be great, but he's not sure he could put up with the media. LOL.
You know, I would LOVE someone in office who doesn't put up with the press.
Flipping through the dial yesterday I found the Tony Snow show during an interview with an "expert" on Iraq. The visitor added one outrageous comment after another, while Snow just mumbled and finished off the interview with (mumble-mumble) a paen of praise for whomeverthehell it was. Snow really needs to brush up on Iraq. He also needs some elocution lessons.
