Wow. Two litters in a row. That's crazy. But, if that's what they wanted...

It appears that Australia's $3000 baby bonus is working as intended...

"If we had quads again that would be the bees' knees," she said at the time.

Killer delivery...she'll never walk again.

>>>The one thing that I never saw mentioned in the show was what the father did for a living to afford 15 kids and a stay at home wife. Or how they were affording to build a massive new home for everyone.>>>

He's a security guard and they live with her parents. Um yeah, it's easy to want 12 kids when you aren't the one supporting them. Australia is seeing the products of thier (almost) socialist society in this generation.

I watched it also, they were totally self sufficient. He had made his money in real-estate and other ventures. They mentioned it during the show right after they went shopping.

Maybe.

Everytime my wife starts whining about money and spending too much, etc, I just comment that disposable diapers are so expensive and point out how much money we would save going to cloth.

Shuts that talk right up for a while.

I would make you buy a separate washing machine just for the diapers.

My only gripe would be if they were on the public dole. It SEEMS that the grandparents are willing to help out in any way that they can. Hope they've checked with all the companies that are providing freebies for them....

No. I was talking about the show "14 kids and pregnant again!"

After some searching, here is the link to the Discovery Health show on them 14 kids and pregnant again

And here is the family's web site... The Official Website of the Jim Bob & Michelle Duggar Family

And yes, the guy's name is Jim Bob and they live in Arkansas!

And now I know what he did for a living. He was a state Rep in the Arkansas House and he ran for the US Senate in 2002.

Here is a picture of the Southern Baptist Cult Family...

Yes, I was being sarcastic with the cult comment, but only slightly.

Daddy is an anonymous sperm donor. And they are going through a fertility clinic. Multiple births are much more likely. Something gives me the willies about playing God like this.

Yeah, that's my attitude. I'm gaping, not griping.

Also reminds me of the old Groucho Marx line (I'm paraphrasing here)...he had a woman on who had many, many children and he asked her why.

She said, "I love my husband."

Groucho said, "Well, I love my cigar, but I take it out of my mouth from time to time".....
