Calling in some minds I respect (and Bacon too, so he doesn't feel left out . . . ) for opinions!

Ohhh... I see.
Carry on, then!
Note to self:
I must remember to read down-thread so as not to jump right in the middle of a flamewar.
Backing toward the door...

Where is the "poor spelling", aside from one left out space that you jumped all over and thought worthy of its own post?
And where are your "facts", aside from the one that I am a woman, which I volunteered?
Hmmm?
To: Xenalyte
which one of us is the hysterical female and which one is the rational human Let me answer your question this way: I'm glad that it's you who has the edged weapons within easy reach.

What is the logic in denying half of all adult Americans, and a good number of freepers, a basic right?

These neanderthals needs to let women wear whatever clothes they want, meet whatever men they want to meet, and drive whatever they want to drive ...
... unless it's an SUV.

You are a disgrace to FR. Go join stormfront or some appropriate Muslim site. Not that she needs it, but I must rise in defense of my fellow Texan.
Xena isn't the only female Freeper who has expressed the sentiment with which you took umbrage. It pops up every so often.
The truth is, the majority of women in the US do vote for rats. We as a country would be better off if they didn't participate in the electoral process.

And this is why I enjoy reading your posts Xenalyte.
You have the audacity to not only slaughter sacred cows, you grill them to perfection.
Now I'm getting hungry.

This is the first time I've seen it.
Would you deny the right to vote to Blacks also based on that principle?
I don't think that's a good path to go down. And I sure don't deserve to have my rights taken away because of the actions of others. Do you support restricting gun ownership because some people use their guns to commit crimes?
Denying rights is not part of the conservative platform.
To: blueminnesota
I like to call this post "She Had To Ask."
In
post 10, "Why don't you go join them there.", being a question, should take a question mark instead of a period.
In
post 17, we see "It's a shame noone else is calling you on it.", on which I have already commented.
Post 24, where the invective really gets going, contains "What a suprise!", and if you can't see the misspelling there - oh, wait, I already know you can't. Also, Stormfront, as a proper name, should be capitalized.
In
Post 30, we see one of the cardinal grammar sins - the run-on sentence: "I am not about to respond in kind about men, it's illogical." (I would note that since I wasn't talking about men, a response about them would indeed be illogical.)
The funniest parts, though, are when you insist on me providing facts to back up my opinion. Here's a hint: opinions don't necessarily need facts. That's why they're unique to the individual.

Um..yeah, this is an INTERNET FORUM. You will find grammatical errors in almost every post, if you're going to be that anal.
And I asked for FACTS because YOU brought them up first. If this is opinion vrs. opinion, fine.
To: blueminnesota
Would you deny the right to vote to Blacks also based on that principle? Only those to whom the 19th amendment applies.
Do you support restricting gun ownership because some people use their guns to commit crimes?
No. In fact I would allow any felon who has completed his sentence to possess firearms. If the state doesn't believe that a person should possess a firearm, said person should have never been released from prison ...period.
Denying rights is not part of the conservative platform.
Wrong. A number of conservatives are opposed to a felon voting.

I brought them up in what is known as a "colloquialism." It's a regional speech habit, in case you're not sure.
What I said was: "The fact that you, unsurprisingly a woman, have chosen to insult me rather than attack the cogency of my arguments pretty much makes my point for me."
You cannot deny that you insulted me from your very first post to me (calling me "freak"). That is what we call a "fact."
