Who currently on the Supreme Court can we be somewhat confident would vote to overturn Roe. V. Wade and how many more do we then need for Bush to appoint to have the 5 to do so? (include Renquist as yes vote as we can assume when he retires his whoever takes over for him will be pro-life.
I got three definites:
Scalia Thomas Renquist (or replacement)
Is there anyone else of the remaining six justices. If not, then I guess we need 3 more originalists on the appointed to the Supreme Court.
Wow, sorry about the grammar errors. It is pretty late.
That's it, Scalia and Thomas. Rehnquist's replacement would be sure to be a vote to overturn. Bush needs two more appointments to the Supreme Court, and even then, there's no guarantee that some solid conservative won't turn out to be a squish, like O'Connor or Kennedy. DC has a way of messing with the brains of the weak-minded.
So really its the next three vacancies, assuming the first will be Renquist. SO we need not only to get three conservatives on the Supreme Court, but need to hope all three are like Scalia and Thomas
