In an attempt to reach young people with the truth and to aide family and friends of those practicing a homosexual lifestyle I would like to provide the following statistics. Homosexual activist would have us believe that homosexuals comprise ten percent of the population of the United States. Numerous studies, however, have placed this population at between one and two percent. But even if you want to accept the ten percent as correct, consider the following statistics:

Homosexuals are 100 times more likely to be murdered (usually by another homosexual) than the average person, 25 times more likely to commit suicide, and 19 times more likely to die in a traffic accident.

I am highly skeptical of at least the first of these stats. If true, and homosexuals are 2% of the population, it would mean that 2/3 of murder victims are gay.

Sadly, the use of combative language (...in dirty, third-world countries...) and the statistical comparison of non-comparable items (e.g. the entire population of lesbians vs. white heterosexual women 29-44) weakens this piece to the point where it is unusable. And that's without the misspellings.

It's important to note that in the schools AIDS/HIV education is taught as just another STD, as evidenced by the "Family Life" materials that my 6th grader just brought home. There is no reference to which group it started in or in which group it continues to thrive. Everything about homosexuality is a celebration. There is never any down side presented- psychologically, physically or anything else. If you look at the local library (at least in Campbell California) in the teen section, they have bookmarks with suggested books on different topics, one of which is homosexuality. Every single book listed carries the message that there's nothing wrong with you, you're not alone and anyone who doesn't fully support you is a homo-phobe.

It's not PC to point out any problems with the homosexual lifestyle.
