PETA: People Enabling Terrorist Atrocities

To hear the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals tell it, they're just animal lovers. They usually claim they simply want to ensure our furry and feathered friends aren't abused. In reality, they call humans "a cancer" and insist we all become become vegetarians. They also say that all animal testing, necessary for testing new drugs, be eliminated. "Even if animal research resulted in a cure for AIDS, we'd be against it," says PETA President Ingrid Newkirk

Indeed, PETA's latest target is the world's largest medical experiment contracting lab, Covance of Vienna, Virginia. They've accused the company of committing horrors with laboratory monkeys, claiming they have video footage to back it up. Yet bizarrely the part they've released shows no such thing — making a monkey out of PETA.

A PETA infiltrator made secret tapes of monkeys and their handling over an 11-month period, then the group chopped it down to a select 28 minutes, then cut down to just a few minutes which it displays on its website — presumably "the worst of the worst." Yet other than a slight slap, we see nothing direr than workers THREATENING a few unruly animals whereupon the threats are clearly not carried out. Some images are as innocuous as a monkey pacing in its cage.

"If that's the worst they've been able to find after almost a year, I'd have to guess Covance has a first class facility," says Foundation for Biomedical Research President Franki Trull. Certainly nobody has a greater interest in protecting those animals than Covance. Real abuse would also violate the Animal Welfare Act, USDA Animal Welfare Regulations and Standards and send drug companies to labs that take better care of their animals.

Despite this backfiring publicity stunt, however, PETA remains both a savvy and dangerous organization. Fortunately, lawmakers and PETA targets — including Covance — seem to be finally realizing how serious the PETA and animal rights problem is.

PETA couldn't care less about animals.

They are the modern day equivalent of a communist front group.

Their true goal is to destroy capitalism and the free market.

Damn I love the quick sting.

>>> PETA: People Enabling Terrorist Atrocities

without "people" terrorism is not possible. The universe is defined in our terms. PETA people are weenies, I know as Mother is one of them.

Without humanity there are no Atrocities.

We make our own Hell, some must imagine it... The PETAfiles imagine and project human emotion's onto a sparrow being eaten by their cat, or in this case a monkey in a cage. We act as the cat, out of self preservation, nothing more and nothing less.

You can slap the wee out of the cat, but he or she will still commit "atrocities" daily. I know, I have many cats.

What can not be equated with the cat killing the sparrow are the millions of lives potentially saved by that uneasy primate in the cage. And believe me, the sparrow gets the worst deal of all concerned.

I oppose vivisection, but also see the value of humane research. We do our best, and only do the worst with the best of intentions.

A contradiction at heart..? I have no fear as there are no contradictions permitted on Eearth.

PETA is a fraudulent organization that feeds on the anthromophization of animals, at the same time they are denying it. They encourage thinking of animals as equal, both morally and even intellectually, to humans. This is patently ridiculous, but try and tell this to most animal lovers. I count myself in that number, but I certainly resist this manipulative pattern this organization excels in.

This organization's hypocrisy is best illustrated by their "sequential" agenda. They reveal parts of their ultimate agenda slowly and only after they have passed certain milestones. For instance, they credit themselves with destroying the fur fashion industry, even though it thrives outside of America.

Someday they will reveal their plan to end "pet slavery" or pet ownership, but not yet! They still need the money they get from animal lovers, who are for the most part pet owners. So, they can't really begin that campaign until they can somehow brainwash pet owners into giving up their animals, and continuing the stream of cash donations. Just how they are going to do that, is anyone's guess.

They also say that all animal testing, necessary for testing new drugs, be eliminated. "Even if animal research resulted in a cure for AIDS, we'd be against it," says PETA President Ingrid Newkirk.

Me too. Why should innocent animals be tortured and harmed? Why not convicted murderers instead? Why not Charles Manson? Why not that John Cooey pig who assaulted and killed Jessica Marie Lunsford? That would make a heck of a lot more sense to me, and the test results on human beings would be much more valuable than the test results on animals.

Their true goal is to destroy capitalism and the free market.

They use anti-capitalist rhetoric, but their real gripe is that the means of production exist at all. No utopian vision of a socialist future here.

PETA runs "adoption shelters" for pets you cannot care for.

Catch 22 : As soon as you leave them - PETA kills them -

The Pilot ran an investigative piece a while back about how PETA was killing more dogs than the Norfolk SPCA.

Showed the gross depravity of PETA for all to see.
