Yes it is. I would never burn someone else's holy book, but if I buy a koran and feel like burning it, I'm only guilty of burning a book.

yes, buying a person's holy book and burning it in private is only burning a book. leaving the remnants to offend a community is a different story. i wouldn't want anyone to do that to a Bible. "do unto others" and all that...
