I was pretty much looking at the fact they owned the Congress and the Courts.
I realize that Republicans held the Senate for two years in the early 80s and that they held the Presidency on and off throughout that time, but the creation and interpretation of our laws has been unilaterally held by the Democrats for a long, long time.
When Clinton got in by pretending to be moderate, and then proceeded to make a hard left (gays in military was his first agenda item) the people pulled the rug out from under the Democrats and these guys have been getting more and more shrill ever since.

Funny, that one guy back in the 50's who had a conspiracy theory about the Commies trying to infiltrate our media... what was his name??? I can't really remember much about him other than that he was a crazy alcoholic that died in disgrace...
but then, that is what the media told me.
Yep, a lot of what that crazy alcoholic tried to warn us about was true.
Dick Durbin should be shackled on the floor of the Senate, flown to Gitmo, and treated as an enemy combatant. He is carrying out war against the United States and its military. A business suit is not a uniform, and by aiding and abetting our enemies, Durbin is an accessory to murder, before, during, and after the fact.
On second thought, Gitmo is way too good for the traitorous rat.
