A strong earthquake occurred at 06:21:45 (UTC) on Friday, June 17, 2005. The magnitude 6.9 event has been located OFF THE COAST OF NORTHERN CALIFORNIA. (This event has been reviewed by a seismologist.)

These quakes are unsettling.

After the Northridge quake, my family jumps when a truck hits a speed bump too fast.

A microearthquake occurred at 11:39:17 PM (PDT) on Thursday, June 16, 2005.
The magnitude 2.7 event occurred 39 km (24 miles) SSW of Fort Ross, CA.
The hypocentral depth is 12 km ( 8 miles).

Didn't feel that one. Petrolia is about 30 miles south of me. Only a couple of marijuana growers and about 10 cows on that hill. (OK, 10 marijuana growers and 2 cows)
