A strong earthquake occurred at 06:21:45 (UTC) on Friday, June 17, 2005. The magnitude 6.9 event has been located OFF THE COAST OF NORTHERN CALIFORNIA. (This event has been reviewed by a seismologist.)

The most outrageous examples are those who rebuild where their destroyed home once sat, paid for by taxpayer dollars because they asked for government help.

Sure, just shook my million dollar crystal chandelier pretty good. It startled me but not really a big shaker for these parts. Was about 100 offshore and probably deep. We've had much worse in these parts. But the recent activity is troubling.
