Should a person who has broken the law by speeding, or possessing marijuana, or driving with an expired license be denied the same benefits as others?

United States laws are for the protection of United States citizens. If these laws are to be interpreted as laws for "anyone" then sovereignty no longer exists.

Taxes are not voluntary. Illegal immigrants have to pay them just like everyone else.

Pretty funny. As one who worked for the IRS, going after non-filers and non-payers, let me tell you the non-compliance among "immigrants" is very, very high. In fact, I received an award from the President (of the U.S.) for discovering a fraudulent tax refund scheme originated by an "immigrant" advocate, using falsified ID's from non-existent "citizens".

You have no idea just how huge the tax fraud is originating from residents south of the border.

Think about it... if these illegals are paid so low that they are called "poor" and "oppressed" they wouldn't owe any taxes--they'd get Earned Income Credit refunds...If they would file tax returns--few do.

The illegals have discovered the tax loophole favored by home-grown tax cheats: Independent Contractor. No withholding, no filing, get welfare while making $100,000 a year. By the time the IRS catches up to them they're long gone. The employment tax regulations are so weak employers failing to issue 1099's are rarely caught and/or punished.

What if the authorities were to withdraw property law protections to your home and allow strangers to enter, use, and leave your home at their convenience? You might be upset, but we would reply, "But we all benefit from allowing these people to use your home. They're just trying to find a safe place to sleep; it would dangerous for them and us if we didn't provide for them in this manner."

If you were to then complain, "But it is illegal to allow strangers to trespass into my home." We might reply, "We will pass a 'bayourod law' and make it officially legal. Then you'll have no complaint and you'll feel better."

It can be done however.

A visit to the office of Immigration and naturalization and the honor of a green card bestowed upon one works wonders for those eager to be a member of our wonderful union.

And IT'S THE LAW!

Over half of the construction workers in Las Vegas are illegal. People are pouring in and home prices are skyrocketing. Someone who bought a $200,000 home, built by illegals, two years ago is now $60,000 to $100,000 wealthier. It's those greedy homebuyers.

Illegals create wealth. They create markets. They create opportunity. Legal or illegal they are going to be here. We need a guest worker program that recognizes that fact.

That being the case let's just make it easier for them and solve all our illegal immigration problems.

I think if we allow strangers to enter, use, and leave your home at will, we'll be much richer for it. They'll be happier, and happy people are productive people. Better yet, all their friends and families will see what great accomodations you have, come to take advantage of it, and be made happy too.

Happiness increasing exponentially. Let's get your doors open now.

Let's continue with the analogy.

So we've passed a law making it legal for strangers to use MM's and bayourod's homes. MM and bayourod know they're supposed to feel happy about it, since it's now legal and all, but there is this nagging doubt about the whole thing. "For one thing," says MM, "That guy Miguel is camped out in my bathroom with his whole family, and it makes my taking a shower a bit uncomfortable." We would answer, "But Miguel is a cockroach inspector, and a very good one. It's job you're not willing to do, so it only makes sense to allow the rest of us to have the benefit of his expertise.

"But we do agree that it isn't right to have him camped out in your bathroom. That's undignified. We strongly suggest that you put some extra beds in your bedroom and let him and his family sleep there." "But my bedroom is too small!" "Then move out. Or, build a new wing." "But who will pay for that?" "Why, you, of course. But it's only fair. Miguel's cockroach inspecting services benefits the rest of us so much, we are quite willing to compel you to build him appropriate accommodations."

Las Vegas is doing fine with all the cockroach inspectors. I don't think we can get too huffy about a city built by the mob and catering to the worst avarices of mankind.

So what we say is, "MM, your place is a dump, a first class pig sty. That being the case, you have no room to complain about a few transients moving into your bathroom and cooking their meals on sterno cans."

You as many of us, Brad's Gramma, just understand that you and the rest of us have the best d@mn health care in the world, the US is the icon of living life to it's fullest, has the best to offer all, however, this status that we have achieved has not been obtained without toil, sorrow, determination, and will.

Getting bennie's doesn't require any of these virtues.

To become a member of our society takes diligence, determination, and respect for what we stand for.

Without these qualities, then one is not worthy of citizenship but is worthy of a swift boot to the butt out of here!
