For those of you in the DC area,
we need some additional FReepers to join us for FReeping Code Pink every Friday night, until further notice, starting at 7:30 pm and until about 10 pm. How about coming out this Friday?
Can you sacrifice an evening to honor the much greater sacrifice that the troops are making for our freedom?
DC Chapter co-leader kristinn has confirmed that we shall continue FReeping the Code Pinkos every Friday night until they stop their obscene blood dance outside the hospital of our war-wounded. If you agree with me that it is outrageous for Code Pinkos to demonstrate at a hospital with war-wounded troops inside, please come out and join us in a peaceful counter-protest.
Please don't let the troops think that regular Americans are too busy with TV, ballgames, movies and other recreation to peacefully counter America-hating leftists.
Being there with us in spirit is great, but we need people to hold the MOAB (Mother of all banners), other signs, and flags. Maybe you can't come every week, but please make it your patriotic duty to join us at least once in the near future.
As always, the DC Chapter's rules for protesting will be in effect.
Briefly, they are: No violence. No profanity. No racism. No provocations. Obey the law. Treat all law enforcement officers with respect.
Start at 7:30 pm and go to about 10 pm.
Walter Reed Army Medical Center, 7200 Georgia Ave., at Elder St., NW
Code Pinkos have been setting up on the southwest corner of the Georgia Ave/Elder St intersection. We've been setting up on the northeast corner across the street from Walter Reed's entrance gate.

A few weeks ago at their protest at a Recruiting Center up the Avenue, we took the Code Pink Moonbats at their word and suggested that the VA be given the funds allocated to the Environmental Protection Agency.
Out cmae the Neo-Communist Green Party fangs, followed by the characteristic hissing and spitting by the Angry Left. Of course they wouldn't give a wounded soldier a Nickel until "Mother Earth" got hers first.
Also, they spewed another lie that makes up the left wing bible, that funds were massively cut at the VA. A simple trip to Annaberg's FactCheck.org shows they lie.

DC Chapter ping!
FReepmail me or post a reply to get on or off the list.
Injured Walter Reed patients, including amputees, have repeatedly told us how important it is for us to be there to counter Code Pink.
If we can sufficiently outnumber the leftists often enough, embarrassment may cause the leftists to stop these outrageous morale-damaging ("Maimed for a lie" is one of their signs) demonstrations at the hospital. Six of our FReepers traveled more than 60 miles from home to FReep last Friday night. What about you? Can you help?
If you're in the DC area and don't have family or work considerations that keep you from FReeping, can you spare a few hours on a Friday night? Will you?

Hold up a second....That's it? Four of them? I don't think it would take more than a stiff breeze to demoralize them!
You guys obviously came out on top; those of us who aren't in the DC area thank you.

This effort is more serious that may appear on the surface. Code Pink and the other Neo-Communist groups that have formed front groups are serious about repeating their 60s success in Vietnam again in 2005 in Iraq.
They believe that with Rep Jones and others asking for a troop withdrawl date that they are on their way to another victory over America.
Code Pink's treasonous vigil at WRAMC has a few goals, first to try and highlight the suffering of our troops, the wounded, especially the amputees. Why? To harness the gratitude and sympathy that the vast majority of American's feel towards our military members.
Their goal is to tug at the heart strings of good people until their sympathy turns to grief, which the Neo-Coms hope will make good people swallow Code Pinks lie that troop withdrawl equals concern for the troops. It's not.
If we follow Code Pink's advice, the terrorits get stronger and we get weaker. The troops we value will be fighting at a disadvantage, perhaps here rather than kicking down the door of their sancutary.
The "Peace Movement" held conferences in which it was plainly stated that they need to recruit military members and military families to carry their water because the Neo-Com left's message has no respect in the eyes of most Americans, but most Americans respect the troops.
A secondary goal of Code Pink is to "turn" a wounded troop. Because the DC Chapter is there offering support and raising the consciousness of the WRAMC community, Code Pink has been given a "Pink Slip". They have effectively been fired as the traitors assigned to the corner of Elder and Georgia in Northwest DC.

Naturally Mullah B has the most provocative signs!
Is it me or are the Code Pinko sings all sprayed red/pink?

Can you sacrifice an evening to honor the much greater sacrifice that the troops are making for our freedom? If there is anyone in the greater Richmond area and north to DC that would like to attend these Friday night FReeps please FReepmail me. I will be more than happy to pick you up.
Thank you all for the great job you do!!! This was one of the most moving experiences of my life. From those leaving WRAMC, to those just driving by, to the neighbors out for a walk, the overwhelming support for our troops was apparent.
TRY IT - YOU'LL LIKE IT !

Justanobody was right about it being a very moving experience.
The highlight of the evening:
A handsome, young soldier with eyes that looked older than his years walked over and shook every FReepers' hand and thanked them for being there. They in turn told him how grateful they were for all he had done and gave him hugs, thanks and blessings.
Craig was recuperating from surgery on his left hand two days before and had a few more days left until he could go home to Minnesota. His mother and sister had flown down to be with him. The injury had ended his second tour of duty in Iraq.
When asked how she had coped with the worry and anxiety of having a son overseas, his mother quietly stated that at first she had a terrible fear when the doorbell rang. She just took it one day at a time, one day at a time she repeated. His pretty sister, a coed at St. Catherine's, was wearing a thin black cord from his uniform that she had wrapped around her wrist before he left for Iraq. She wasn't ready to take it off just yet.
As the evening wore on, the honking continued. At times it was almost too noisy to talk. Around 10:00 p.m. Craig's mother and sister caught a bus back to their hotel. He shook hands with everyone all over again and walked away to the hospital, a tall, thin, dignified figure, a bright ray of hope for those watching from the sidewalk.
