Graham did not answer yes or no when asked by The Hill if he was an emissary for Frist during the negotiations. Instead, he described a nuanced role.

He's Fr*nch.

"...we would not use the constitutional option,” the Republicans’ term for the nuclear option.

Nice admission of slant right here. For some reason, they don't feel the need to explain, or place in quotation marks, the term "nuclear option."

Major Garrett has taken anonymous sources before and it always makes the WH look bad and in this case Senate leadership as well. My opinion of Garrett isn't very high. DeWine and Graham are both scum for even inferring the Senate leadership was behind this when they were opposed. Two sniveling little wimps if you ask me and I hope both get the boot in the Republican primaries when they are up for reelection.

LOL. Graham, at least, is in real trouble.

Note to DeWine and Graham -- McCain maybe be the leader of the "Gang of 14" party, but he is not the Senate Republican Majority Leader.

It is so much easier to sleep at night when you are a straight shooter. Pity, that it all too often apparently makes you the loser in the inside the Beltway game - at least in the short term. In the long time, it pays dividends generally.

But when asked whether he had dispatched Graham and DeWine as emissaries, Frist replied firmly “No. No.”

"Liar-Liar, pants on...whoa!"

Dr. Oran Smith, president of the Palmetto Family Council based in Columbia, S.C., said, “Graham has been meeting with groups of conservative opinion leaders to explain his actions and to comfort conservative leaders by assuring them he was sent by the Republican leadership to broker a deal.”

YOU MISERABLE CRETIN! I thought you didn't give a damn what your constituents thought, now you are peddling damn lies that it is FRIST's Fault you sold out? DEFEAT THESE MISERABLE RINO"S!

Don't lie it won't help now. I hear the primary is going to be tough for Mr. Graham.

Dewine and Graham and Warner are duplicitous and hopefully will be challenged and defeated.

Frist knew everything that was going on, and ultimately, on the Senate floor, he affirmatively acceded to the Agreement.

Frist had a lot of potential- but he's eroding all of it by his ineptitude as majority leader.

I hope the voters in their districts kick them out of office! They are lying backstabbers.

I can't begin to tell you how disgusted I am with Frist. NO GUTS NO GLORY!!! He was on Sean Hannity radio today and I thought I was going to throw up. I was yelling in the car! Frist is going to WRITE A LETTER to Durbin I guess to say some polite junk about how Durbin should not have bad-mouthed our military. Frist says Durbin did not violate any rules of the Senate. So he's going to WRITE A LETTER! Oh, now that's going to put Durbin in his place. Sure thing.

Leave it to the Republicans. With friends like that, we don't need any enemies.

OF COURSE Graham and DeWine were in on the scheme to trap the rats - - they were in on it from the beginning. But WHY would Graham open his big mouth now? There's plenty of time to rub the rats' noses in their own stupidity later. First, there's a lot more judges to get confirmed, and probably a Supe, too.

Hey, Lindsey - - nice job working the rats over the way you did, but all you had to do was suck it up for a little while longer and keep your stinking mouth shut. Owens, Brown, Pryor, and a couple of the others - - the scheme is working just as planned, but we ain't done yet. And you have plenty of time to clear your name before your next campaign season. Sheesh.

Welp, as a SC voter I can assure you, Graham will not get my vote in 2010. I wish we could recall him.
