Sadly, this post would actually need to be filed under "comedy". I was born, lived 40 years in NJ and have for the past 4 lived in Md. ( which is sad enough, in and of itself). The possibility of vouchers in either state rate up their with Dean speaking softly and Durbin intelligently.
In both states I live(d) in the only Republican enclaves of otherwise solid blue. I'm not positive but I think it may be legal for the teachers' union to skin republican politicians in Annapolis. No matter how much it is needed, "Never Happen".

Sadly, you're right, the NJEA is very powerful and has 12 yrs. to brainwash each and future generations of students who become voters, many of the RINO's are against any type of school choice. One reason why Bret Schundler has a rough time of winning in this state.
