AS OF NOW, REPUBLICANS ARE RIPPING DURBIN ON THE HOUSE FLOOR.
This happened the last time...they stopped to discuss Father's Day and then resumed.
I hope so it looked like it would be a good one! Maybe our people are preparing their remarks!
You know I was down at the WTC site for the freep yesterday. Unfortunately...just missed them, daughter had a long doctor's appt. But I lost friends there and I can't count the number of funerals I went to, the Sunday calls I make still to their families, thoughts of Fr. Judge as I go to St. Francis for Mass and Confession...where they have the twisted mass of metal and a new stained glass window in tribute to him and the firefighters, the sight of people jumping to their deaths, the mass exodus, how the first time the subways down there opened, I had to go to the archdiocese of Brooklyn across the bridge...and underground...still the smell and smoke of people burning. I will never forget, I go back to the memorial sites to make sure I never forget. I will make sure the people never forget.

Scared the h*** out of me. I must still be traumatized...from Durbin as puppet, not Osama.

I saw Turban Durbin on tv last night with Osama Obama talking about writing legislation to grant citizenship to a woman who lost her husband in Iraq- he was a civilian contractor. Of course Durban was spouting about how we need to support our troops. Whatever.

Did you see Martinez on Washington Journal? Someone called in (had to be a FReeper) and pretty much asked when the Pubs were going to show a set. He said he was a baby senator, it would be inappropriate for him to bring censure to the floor, that was up to the leadership, it will work itself out...Give me a break.
Lucky you. I'm stuck with Fart Gordon, who I can't believe I've ever seen get up for any of these 1-minute speeches.

Hope so, it was most excellent. How could the dems possible hold the line behind Dean and Durbin? Are they clones? I really don't get it. But I must say, in NYC where I live, every male dem I talked to (and there have been many), adamantly refuse to vote for Hillary.
It's about damned time!
