Hmmm. Guess I missed the breathless headlines that read "Dean's approval dropping as fund raising efforts fail to meet targets."

Ahh, but here's all the hook needed right here from the Rasmussen release...

The fact that 65% of Americans have an opinion is unusual for a Party Chairman.

NYT Headline:

DEAN'S SUCCESS IN RAISING PARTY CHAIR'S PROFILE UNPRECEDENTED

From what i read Mehlman keeps a fairly low profil does mainly grassroots work and fundraising. He did show up on a SUnday show right after Dean's "White Christian Party" remark and said last he checked he was Jewish.

This poll is wrong. Republicans love Dean

This attitude is one reason I'm not a partisan Republican. I want what's good for the country. Although Dean is good for the Republican Party, he is not good for the country. I don't like Dean.

Finally someone I can agree with on this! I just can't get into the Macchiavellian glee over Dean -- I'm just horrified that a major US political party is headed by such a demagogic hatemonger.

"Although Dean is good for the Republican Party, he is not good for the country. I don't like Dean."

Ah, yes. But since Dean is good for the Republican Party, and the Republican Party is good for America, it stands to reason that Dean is good for America.

Doesn't it? :)

Any questions why Achmed Durban was crying on the Senate floor yesterday. The only reason a Rat cries is when his poll numbers are crashing!

This may seem like a small point, but it will work to our advantage in ways we don't even see yet.

Ras has done a good job here. No other polling firms would touch this question besides FOX. Let the ratmedia continue to sap the life out of the evil donkey by telling him what he wants to hear. It crushed them in 2004 and it will continue to do so. Go how-weird go!

He's got to pace himself. We need him for the long haul:

It shows that Howard Dean is doing a great job for the Republican Party.

But since Dean is good for the Republican Party, and the Republican Party is good for America, it stands to reason that Dean is good for America.

People tend to vote Republican when national security issues are important. Terrorist attacks on American soil have made national security issues important. This has benefitted the GOP.

No, I wouldn't say that what is good for the Republican Party is good for America. Only a partisan would say that.
