The scorching-hot SIMPSON sisters are ready to rule the silver screen this summer -- as both JESSICA and ASHLEE are making their movie debuts in lead roles in the very same month -- August.
Jessica, as most of the universe knows, will be running around in skimpy cutoffs in the 'Dukes of Hazzard,' out August 5, while Ashlee is a bit more covered up in 'Undiscovered,' out August 26.
"It's cool because Jessica and I are doing our first big roles at the exact same time," Ashlee explained. "We call each other and make sure everything is going cool on the set and everything."
"I'm kind of grungy and she's Daisy Duke," Ashlee admits. "I don't know if I would've been a good Daisy Duke. Not yet. I think Jessica's probably the best Daisy Duke out there."

I saw the video for her remake of These Boots Are Made For Walkin. All by itself it makes the creation of the music video A Good Thing.
As bored as I am to be reading it... seriously, to show how out-of-touch I've become with pop culture, the first thought crossing my mind ( or what little is left of it ) was
"Simpson Sisters? I didn't know Bart's sister had any sisters..."
How bored was I to read it?
Actually I expected a Patty and Selma story, which shows how completely out of touch I am.
Neither set of Simpson sisters really does it for me.
My first thought was of Lisa and Maggie.
My thought too.
I should have just right clicked and checked properties.
I would have at least gotten some information for the effort.
Of course, Patty and Selma would have been "the Bouvier Sisters..."
That would be the Bouvier sisters, actually. ;-)
Forgot all about Maggie, which shows how little I watch TV. Most of what I know comes from the wife-unit...

Don't worry about it. Sometimes even Homer forgets about Maggie. He'll tell someone he has two kids named Bart and Lisa, and Bart will have to remind him, "Dad, you have three kids. Remember Maggie" And Homer will say, "Oh, yeah, three kids."
The original Daisy Duke wins out over Jessica Simpson. And I'll take Avril Lavigne over Ashlee Simpson any day.

Please, not this early in the morning. Crud, now my whole day is ruined.
I think I know who Jessica is. She has a real nice figure but crooked nose. Ashlee, the name sounds familiar but that is all.
