I was kidding about Wyoming, but this guy was way off base with his criticism.

Seems to me homeland security spending shouldn't even be a per capita matter. Instead, the money should be spent where it will do the most good and in whatever amounts are appropriate. That will necessarily result in disproportionate amounts being spent in various states and localities.

>"Newspapers upstate are now asking," Cox said, "'Mrs. Clinton, where are those 200,000 jobs you promised us?'"

that's amusing that anyone would remind her highness of her past promises.

of course, that "evil" capitalism creates jobs, not politicians.

Much as I loath the Witch, I think the homeland security spedning attack on her is silly. Cox could get a lot more mileage with the 16 terrorists she got released and attacks contrasting her refusal to comment on what Durbin said vs. her response to Rove's remarks.

"It is terrible that Wyoming should get $18 per capita of homeland security funds while New York gets only $2.50 (per capita)."

Does Ed know how many people live in Wyoming? LOL

If you take $2.50 and multiply it by the number of people in Wyoming, you could not buy a small flat in Manhattan.

Hillary is an easy enough target without having to resort to silly statistics games.

Just got back from Jackson, Wyoming. Stayed at the famous Wort Hotel. It was a great vacation with the family. My wife and I have talked about getting a place up there. I couldn't leave Texas completely, this being the home of George Strait and the Texas Aggies.

I hope Cox wears a Flack Jacket and stays away from Fort Marcy Park.

"An attack on The Beast by a dim....priceless!"

I suspect President Nixon would be turning in his grave if his son-in-law became a democrat. And the lovely Tricia Nixon Cox would throw a screaming hissy, too!

The following is an interesting article about her part on the impeachment committee. These paragraphs come just a little way down in the article.

Democratic Party "Leper" Endorses Bush

Under Marshall's direction Hillary worked to forestall Richard Nixon's impeachment and keep him "twisting in the wind" until the end of his term. This would have denied the untarnished vice president, Gerry Ford, a chance to restore respectability to the Republican Party. It also would have enhanced the prospects for Kennedy to be elected in the upcoming elections.

In pursuit of Marshall's objective Hillary lied to me and the committee on several occasions. Thus, after the disbanding of our impeachment staff I decided that I could not recommend her for future employment in government service. She went off to Arkansas and married Bill Clinton.

When all is said and done, I do not believe that Edward Cox will even file his Senate candidacy papers. Obvioiusly, he knows nothing at this point about being a candidate. I am unsure if anyone will run against the entrenched NY incumbent.

"Somebody should tell him that it's not Hillary's job to create 200,000 jobs in upstate NY."

Regardless of whose job you think it is, Hillary PROMISED to create 200,000 jobs and did not deliver. He is correct to call her on that.

Obvioiusly, he knows nothing at this point about being a candidate.

It appears he knows by mentioning Hillary in his sound bites his name might end up in the paper too.

I guess he didn't realize he comes off looking like a money grubbing democrat who cares more about $$$ than the security of America.

Hillary made a big "It's not my fault" speech. She blamed Bush directly.

Who do you think would be the stronger candidate? Jeanine Pirro, or Ed Cox? There is $60 million RNC money waiting for that lucky person.
