Demonstrators disrupted a meeting in Bridgewater yesterday of a group organizing civilian patrols to catch illegal immigrants along the nation's border.
The group, the United Patriots of America, drew about two dozen people from New Jersey and Pennsylvania to a function room overlooking the ice rink at the Bridgewater Sports Arena.
The groups goal is to pressure the government to toughen enforcement of immigration laws and tighten the nation's borders.
About 60 protestors marched outside the meeting denouncing the group's stated goals as veiled racism. Four protestors were arrested, including two who were among a group that sneaked into the meeting and disrupted it with loud chants of "fascists go home."

I guess freedom of speech, assembly, and petition isn't allowed for people who want immigration law to be followed.
While organizations affiliated with the Minutemen effort have held meetings recently in several states, the local organizers have struggled to dodge disruptive protests.
In February, the United Patriots of America were forced to call off a meeting on Staten Island when immigrant advocates contacted the hotel the group had rented and persuaded them to cancel.
In April, protesters contacted the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Freehold, whose site the group had booked, prompting the VFW to cancel the group's meeting.
When the group moved to a diner, protesters contacted the diner owner who also canceled.
The advocates were chased from a second diner when protesters showed up and began picketing outside and finally met at a diner in Union County.
Protesters again yesterday said they hoped to shut down the meeting and prevent the Minutemen from organizing in New Jersey.
And these leftist/pro-illegal alien protesters were calling the border security folks fascists?!
The border problem is more than a Mexico and U.S. problem. The OTM problem is more likely to scare people because of sleeper cells that are here and adding to their strength to do damage.

If these idiots could behave as adults and control themselves they might not have to sneak in, theres even a chance they could be invited to sit quietly or debate honestly and learn something.

I grew up believing in rational discussion so I have trouble with the concept of people who are childish and out of control.
The SWAT team leads me believe things got a little more heated.

So 24 citizens peacefully assembled for a meeting and another group of 60 people tried to stop them and then, when that didn't work, tried to break up the meeting. How does this qualify as "protesting"? These people are just plain thugs.
I have tried many times to discuss things rationally w/ these moonbats at our counterprotests. I also usually tape the debates w/my camcorder
More often than not, it's a lost cause. Most times, they can't even complete sentences.

I'm well aware of what they're all about, it's just wishfull thinking on my part.
Someone has been buying time on our local cable access channel and exposing the left lately. I don't know who's paying for the airtime but a lot of it looks like Protest Warriors footage. One that ran the other day exposed some gay, lesbian and NAMBLA rallies. There was some pretty shocking hidden camera footage of a meeting where members chanted this little mantra.
"We'll sodomize their children in the classroom.

I hope pictures were taken of the demonstrators - I'd guess the majority, if not all, are terrorists and their groupies, drug dealers, and assortment of other criminals, with an occasional psychotic or just plain "Hate America" individual thrown into the mix.

When the Left calls names, it means they have no argument. The rely upon (their) emotion and not reality or facts.
That is exactly what they do.
And they are on mailing lists and belong to message boards and are told where to go.
Transportation is often provided plus room and board if needed.
This is the point of why they can't be reasoned with in a discussion.
If I had a concealable video camera and didn't have a life of my own I suppose it would be very interesting to infiltrate a group like that.
I don't have the temperment for that sort of thing. Ive never lasted more that one or two posts over at the DU because I can't resist pointing out the obvious stupidity there.

Same old same old...
It is already getting nasty in California, and citizens/taxpayers/voters are really getting MAD! The (probably hired) thugs are trying to make it clear that those of us who speak up against open borders and illegal immigration are racists and nazis, and they don't hesitate to shove, throw bottles and cans, and shout through bullhorns. They think they own this state.
They clearly agree with the President of the United States that illegal immigration isn't a problem. We happen to disagree with all of them, and we're demanding that President Bush enforce the laws.
New Jersey probably has one of the largest illegal enclaves in America. Combine that with the Garbage State's high Democrat population, and you get this.
It seems to me that they should have another meeting, with video cameras ready, and then send the tapes to all news outlets. People need to know about this real affront to free speech.

This stinks of the ACLU. The communist organization is training the illegals to shout down the citizens, and take over. It has been the dream of these communists from the first ACLU traitor to the present day, that this country should be destroyed from within. This is happening all over America. Let the citizens know first hand who the enemy is: Our own government, the ACLU, and our Judiciary from the state level up to and including the Supreme Court.
