The wife, Anita van der Sloot, was out of the country visiting Holland during the Memorial Weekend that Natalee Holloway was found missing. When the wife's away the men might have played.

There can be no case without the body. The lawyers have made sure that nobody talks, which is the only other way that a case can be made.

Nope, the press won't get over this. It is the pet story since the Jackson trial is over.

If they find Bin Laden or if a terrorist training camp is found at one of the Democrat headquarters, then the focus might shift.

With NO body and not much "evidence" HOW can you convict someone of murder or anything else? They'll go free. Just wait and see.

I think that if a terrorist training camp is found at a dem hq, the aruba story goes into overdrive.

I think we agree on this matter. My understanding is that the Arubian police mishandled the whole investigation.

I wonder if it was done on purpose so no prominent local could be blamed and the paradise illusion could continue.

The step dad clearly stated that in this Carolos place they were smoking dope and in the open were numerous crack houses. The main suspect is UNDERAGE for being in the casinos and drinking. The truth is they have a "low crime rate" because they do NOT report it and look the other way.

I actually don't think she was reported missing til morning, when they were supposed to be at the airport. This just amazes me..............why wouldn't girls in a foreign country be on a buddy system.

yes, that would be correct if the usual suspects had been seen in the company of the courier with the papers of transport and were the last to see him before he was murdered, and then lied about where they had been and why they had been there in the first place. Rounding up the usual suspects means rounding up the innocent but vagabond crowd that no one will care about. The innocent don't lie about how and why and where they were, because they don't have to. Guilty folks, though, have to lie.

it now would appear that the father truly has some involvement or knowlege...the biggest difficulty is going to be getting some reality out of any of the original three arrestees (forget the dad--he thinks he is noble for "doing anything to save my son") since time constraints and dutch law make each day of silence a day closer to freedom for the three........also, on this white slavery issue, i can only locate a missing boy and amy bradley as previous victims, is anyone aware of other nationalities or cases that we might not have read about or are easily located? if this isn't actually a substantial possibility it brings the noose closer to the original three
