COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The goal of safe-schools programs on behalf of children with same-sex attraction should be to "encourage them in their identity," workshop presenters for a pro-homosexual group told delegates at the national PTA convention. "Most gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) kids do not feel safe in school," said Roy Gilbert-Higginson, deputy director of Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG). "They stay away, they truant, they don't get value of an education." The Rev. Lawrence Rezash, pastor emeritus of St. John's United Church of Christ in Dayton, Ohio, said PFLAG has developed a program for school staff awareness and "interventions," with the help of Centerville High School and Wright State University, to increase acceptance of homosexuality and eliminate harassment in schools. "There are so many subtle ways that school administrators, counselors and teachers can let GLBT students know they are welcome and accepted," Mr. Rezash said. "Put a rainbow ribbon on the school counselors' bulletin board." Mr. Rezash said he makes school staff aware that students as early as elementary and middle school age are confused about sex and sexuality. He said some boys feel "transgendered" -- that they are girls trapped in a male body, while some girls wish they were male.

Since some religions beleive that homosexuality is the bees knees, and some rightly acknowledge it's a cardinal sin, can't we get these bozos knocked out of school for preaching religion?

Argh! Where are the parents these days that will not stand for this propaganda to be hyped in our nation's schools? That pro-gay group is spouting nothing but lies. No one is threatening "gay" kids. Of course, if that happened, all hell would break loose.
It is the pro-gay crowd that is more militant/determined in spreading their message in the schools these days.
This is why we won't join the PTA. I am interested in the result of this.
Gee Roy, do you think we should tell these kids it's your fault? Do you think we should tell these kids that your sickening methods of indoctrination have lifelong consequences? Did you bother to tell these kids about the cons associated with a willful and deliberate choice to associate themselves with perversion?
Perhaps Roy, you should explain to these kids the dupe job you and your sickening kind have perpetrated on innocent children.

Why does this SH!T always come up. Someone please give me a real number on what percentage of school kids have REAL same sex parents. Not sames sex live togethers because it is "fun" or convenient. I mean Real Same Sex Parents. Parents meaning "one that begets or brings forth offspring" In this case begets means "to procreate as the father" as in his only begotten son.
This shi^ is really twisted way of life. And it just works against us exponentially. I mean now when little Johnny(who may or may not be able to read) grows up thinking it is Ok to live with another Johnny instead of a Jill. The scourge (a cause of widespread or great affliction) is spreading because that is what scourges do.
I'd guess that 99% have same sex parents, that is the same sex as the other kids parents.

My only comfort is that none of the homos can procreate. Only thing needed now is for actual parents to teach kids to resist the 'pro-gay' agenda.
