I've been on an anti-socialist rant for some time. I get extremely irritated that I bump into them on FR. Usually on the medical related threads.

Socialism has only killed 100 million, can't we try it one more time?

"Senator Murray. She is SOOOOooooooooooooooooooo STUPID that she thinks Bin Laden is building DAY CARE FACILITIES."

Sorry that I missed this when you posted it. It's a great comment! You're absolutely right. Murray reflects the typical liberal stupidity.......what I call the "Kumbaya mentality." Just sing caribbean folk songs with these people, while doing the Jimmy Carter "Habitat" thing, and all will be well...."

Thanks for your remarks. Excellent!

"Once they knew this administration was doing all it could to keep things in check (once again, something they wouldn't admit to) - sometime after the first anniversary of 9/11 - they started their incessant harping again."

Your entire comment is excellent, Annie. And, in keeping with the above quote from it, it wasn't long before these creeps (led by Daschel and Pelosi) began creating the theme of Bush's reaction policies to 9/11 being "disturbing" and "troubling," their two favorite adjectives.

The top Democrat leadership were alarmed (possibly panicked) by the tremendous surge in GWB's poll numbers.....up to the high 80's or low 90's. That was when they saw that they had to begin attacking this brave president. Little by little, they chipped away at the genuine affection, appreciation and admiration that the American people felt for this man.

It is for that alone that I will never forget and never EVER forgive the Democrat party. Never! They attempted to destroy a president who, IMO, will emerge as one of the top 5 best presidents America has ever had. (Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, Reagan and George W. Bush).

Bush supporter though I am, I nevertheless also think that he hasn't done nearly enough about securing our borders. That's just my personal opinion. Even without the threat of terrorists coming in mixed with the floodtide of illegals, the U.S. still can't possibly absorb up to a million new people each year.

when capitalism is not done perfectly, there are people out of work; when socialism is not done perfectly, there are gulags and mass graves.

Concisely expressed. I'll have to remember that one!

I agree with you, and President Bush supporter that I am, I wish he would start utilizing the weapons we have, threaten Syria and Iran for their interventions, and move our soldiers out of harm's way.

Unfortunately, when it's a match-up between the Evil Party and the Stupid Party, the Evil Party generally wins - usually because the Stupid Party folds it's four aces against a busted flush and a good bluff.

Karl Rove got in was a sharp left jab, that's all. People who want to know the score already know the score.

A plurality of the American people have the alarm set to Snooze and just want to get back to "normal". They just want the unpleasant noises to stop.

Rove's apology should read:

"I am so sorry that the liberal left was in favor of therapy and investigation rather than going to war as a response to 9/11. I am so sorry that their solution would have been ineffective."

I was surprised that when Ms. Murray said it that nobody else seemed to notice the logical disconnect or projection that made this kooky liberal think that a Muslim Fundamentalist was building day care facilities so that Afghan women could work outside the home. She was condemned for her comments, but I can't remember anyone else pointing out the 'day care facilities' line. I was surprised that it was left out when she was quoted in the post; had to include the full quote and observation.

What does it take for Secular Liberal Feminist Socialists to idolize a Muslim Fundamentalist Misogynist Terrorist and project their values upon them?

Unfortunately the answer is 3000 dead Americans.

Those that attack the Coalition AND THOSE THAT VOTED FOR THEM are anti-Iraqi and pro-terrorist.

Unfortunately that includes my mother.

I don't know what Senator Murry is talking about. The Army National guard was in Panama not to long ago, building schools, roads, bridges and digging wells for water. They have done this almost every year. We do this in other countries too.

If she as a US Senator doesn't know this and can praise an avowed enemy of this country she needs to be impeached for incompetence and stupidity.

Liberals allow the most liberal people to become their voice. Encourage Jimmy Carter to sit by someone more appropriate at your next convention. Don't elect Howard Dean to lead your party . Don't let George Soros be such a major player. Get rid of your wacko fringe and then Karl Rove will not have such an easy target.

I will never forgive the Democrats for giving aid and comfort to our enemies. Dick Durban, Ted (the swimmer) Kennedy, Robert (sheets) Byrd, Dingy Harry Reid, etc. have done more to hurt our efforts in the war on terror than the terrorists could ever dream of.

After last night's speech I saw Joe Biden saying that Iraq was a recruiting tool for terrorists and that George W had emboldened them. This from a man who fits that description perfectly.
