Well,
To this lil' ole Georgia Peach it sounds like a Chimpanzee with bronchitis.

Is that bourbon any good? Its about average or I'd say on par with Jim Beam. (I'm not much of a bourbon drinker, so my opinion doesn't amount to much)

Good post. Just don't let an unsuspecting passerby catch you trying out all those versions!

Rebel Yell is the very purpose for which God intended his creation of corn.

See my reply to myself at post #69. (No, I was not sipping Yebel Yell at the time)

My dopey Setter was sitting right next to me when I clicked on the "short" version of your link there.
She's been running around the house howling and barking at every window and door since!

Rebel Yell
Pvt. Thomas N. Alexander of the 37th NCT
The audio files accompanying this page were recorded by the general manager of WBT radio at a Sons of Confederate Veterans meeting in 1935 when Alexander was 90 years old.
There's also a recording of another very old veteran giving what he refers to as the rebel yell, found in a 1938 newsreel of the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg. It can be seen and heard in Ken Burns' "The Civil War". Please FREEPMAIL me if you want on, off, or alter the "Gods, Graves, Glyphs" PING list --
Archaeology/Anthropology/Ancient Cultures/Artifacts/Antiquities, etc.
The GGG Digest -- Gods, Graves, Glyphs (alpha order)
