Friend, the OJ trial was an intense, painful time for me (living in LA at the time, and a very good friend was a principal witness in the case), so I don't necessarily want to redredge the whole thing again.
But.

The majority of white people watching the trial were convinced beyond the proverbial shadow of a doubt that OJ did it. And we were stunned when he was acquitted.
Black people cheered in the streets. Even some of the ACTUAL JURORS said, when interviewed after the verdict, This is payback, for all the innocent black men who have been persecuted and wrongly prosecuted over the years (that's a near-quote).
Remember all the talk of jury nullification? The evidence didn't matter. I believe he would have been acquitted if Mark Fuhrman never existed.

People dancing in the street after this injustice was almost as distasteful as middle-easterners dancing after 9.11.
I'm glad that Mark landed on his feet.
I've found that amazon.com changed their site to make it more difficult to order "older" books. I tried to order Mark's new book and one of his older books, and the site directed me to outside contractors who advertize on amazon.com. What a pain.
I read the book yesterday.
It is a good book. I think Mark suggest that there was criminal activity involved, but that there is no way to prove it unless an investigation is open into what happend the night/morning Terri colapsed. He gives different scenarios of what possibly could have happend. He said it could have all been an accident, but the only way we may know for sure is if Michael Schiavo is really interrogated/investigated. He says he has never really been put on the hot seat and that he needs to be.
I was impressed at the logical approach Mark took.
There were gems of new information but what he did with the events that most of us already knew about was the truly interesting part.

Sean Hannity too Terri's fight to live in horrific circumstances to heart. He attempted to help her parents save her life. He became distraught over the days she was being starved to death, and dehydrated to death thru denial of all fluids. (I think it took 13 days for this mentally damaged but otherwise healthy woman to die from this abuse. It was unbearable for those of us who had been intently following and researching the horrific decisions of judge greer and michael schiavo and his vampirish attorney george felos.)
SEAN CONTACTED MARK FURHMAN AND ASKED THAT HE LOOK INTO THE FACTS, AS DOCUMENTED, in this case. And there are thousands of papers regarding court dealings, etc.
The Schindler's, Terri's parents, who loved her deeply and WANTED to care for her, had asked and asked for state and federal investigations while their dtr was living and WELCOMED Mark when he arrived in Florida to begin his investigation, which included hundreds of interviews, documentation research and many other avenues someone with his experience could employ.
HE DID NOT GO WITH AN AGENDA.
He was ABSOLUTELY against our government interfering with this horrific state sanctioned murder.
He did NOT get access to Michael Schiavo. Nor would that monsters attorney, a major league coward outside his euthanasia groups domain, george felos, allow Mark to interview Michael or himself, in fact he did not even bother to RESPOND to Mark's requests for information. Interesting.
Mark did a turn around when he learned that Michael Schiavo REFUSEd to show up for an court ordered depositions (he NEVER had to answer questions, even ONCE professionally administered) and he was NEVER called on the carpet for failure to show.
He also changed his story about the night of Terri's collapse MANY times OVER!
Mark got interested.
And he believes a Grand Jury is necessary...........something the Schindlers have wanted and publically called for before Terri was murdered.
OH WOW! I hope so. And I hope someone, richer than me, lol, sends a COPY to swarmy LARRY KING, who was afraid to REALLY interview Michael Schiavo with the hardball questions, all the many times he had him on!
I agree! You made all the key points! It is time for someone to sit Michael Schiavo down and ask him what happend to Terri. No healthy women just ends up like she did out of the clear blue! Why can't Fl. see this i will never know? But they better get their crap together cause people are going to know more now about what happend after reading Mark's book and the pressure is going to be mounding on them!
